Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hungary-
Villas in heaven! :) It was the most beautiful accommodation we had in the Seychelles! Well-equipped, modern, clean bungalows, water in the fridge and the staff is very nice! Garden is like a botanical garden, with turtles and beautiful birds. The beach is not suitable for swimming but there is a good pool as well and the sight itself is a miracle. The breakfast is very delicious and plentiful, served on our own terrace. You need a car if you would like to go to a beach or shopping or restaurant. Our stay with two children was perfect, we hope to come back again!

FinlandRabbits in the tiny cages. VERY slow wifi and no mobile network. This place needs lights after sunset. At approx 18:30 you can not enjoy outside anymore, because it is dark and the surounding facilities are very poorly lit. So you can sit only in your villa which is also poorly lit. A few stronger lights on the beach, at the swimming pool and in the garden could fix this problem (there are some lights in the garden but they are very weak and with movment sensors). The garland lights would make this location magnificient at night. The meditation place has a lot of potential but now it is very outdated and dark, so that there is no pleasure to spend even a minute there. It needs renovation. The kitchen outlay is very poorly done. There could be some hanging cabinets where to put the stuff so that would increase a cooking space. Now you barely have cooking space. We stayed at Ponm Zako villa. The Villa itself is large but the space is not well utilized. For example, there is no dining table in the room so we needed to bring the one from the terrace, because to eat in the terrace is too dark in the evening. Also need for bedside tables, there is only one tiny, shaky shelf on one side. Missing sockets at bedsides.
The swimming pool, beach, the sunset on the beach. Garden, quiet, private, relaxing. Outdoor shower in the villa (but needs more lights). Water refill station in the reception.

SlovakiaIf you are looking for perfect beach and sea, this apt. is not for you (at least during december+january). There is very rocky entry to the sea. I can't tell how is it during the rest of year, but we had rainy season, so the sea was little bit wild and we can't access the sea from Domaine beach. That's the reason why i put only 9* to this accommodation.
If you are looking for perfect relaxing spot and you don't mind to travel 5-10 min to nearest beaches, this place is perfect for you. Me and my family had perfect time here in Domaine. Beautiful garden with animals (large tortoises, baby tortoises, peacocks...), pool, very friendly and helpful staff, nice sunset...everything you need to relax.

GermanyEverything was perfect.
It was the first stay of our Seychelles vacation and we just loved it! We immediately felt that we arrived in paradise, in such a secluded area, with nice gardens, our huge terrace with sea view and the beach that feels like a private one.

FranceVillas are quite new - located in a big garden with fruits. Full privacy and possibility to rest in quiet space. Private beach is available together with swimming pool. Great contact with personel - we arrived few hours before check in, but we were invited to relax on the beach when our villa was prepared. They explain us everything and gave some tips where to explore Mahe. We rented a car during our stay on the island and I think this is the most convenient way since grocery stores are quite far away and villas itself are in more wild part of Mahe. However I don’t see it as big disadvantage since you will need a car anyway to see interesting places in the island. I would recommend short walk to Police Bay with amazing beach on a way.

GermanyWe stayed for 2 nights, from Wednesday to Friday, and our experience was incredible. From the very beginning, the check-in process was very personal, and the host took the time to show us around. The villa we stayed in, with its sea view, left us in awe. It was not only stunning but also impeccably maintained, with daily cleaning services ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The entire garden surrounding the property was like paradise and truly resembled the Garden of Eden. It was a tranquil and serene escape that added to the overall charm of our stay. While the beach may not have been suitable for swimming due to its wild appearance, it was a dream in its own right. The southwest orientation of the beach made it the perfect spot to watch breathtaking sunsets. One of the highlights of our stay was encountering a green sea turtle coming ashore for egg-laying on our first evening. It was a rare and unforgettable experience. The breakfast served on our private terrace was not only ample but also delicious, offering the perfect start to our days. The surrounding environment is a lush, quiet, and untouched paradise. It felt like a hidden gem where we could truly unwind and reconnect with nature. In short, our stay was, without a doubt, the best experience of our lives.

GermanyIt’s a bit outside, you probably need a car to get around , but it is exactly what we were looking for , because you are really pretty much by yourself , very few tourists make it out here, and you feel Like you have this part of paradise to yourself.
A very very beautiful boutique like hotel at the southern part of Mahe. We had a great little room/house with outdoor showers, and with a view of the sea. We could hear the waves crash at night, had a great terrace to enjoy the view and the blissfulness of it.

United StatesThis place words don't do it justice. It's so pristine, quiet and sooooo beautiful. The location is south of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the north. Take the bus, do some hiking to intendance beach" which to me is arguably the beast beach", meet locals and have chat with them. It doesn't get more Seychelles than that. Unforgettable experience. The host made amazing recommendations worthy of checking out. Can't wait to find my way back.

FranceThe beach at the property is not suitable for swimming - the reef is too close and the sea is too rough unfortunately
Very relaxing atmosphere, not many people around, nice swimming pool and a great host of course - special thanks for the home-made eggs presented to us! Police bay and Intendance beaches are located nearby
