Hosts Kemi and Fred couldn't have been more welcoming. Kemi was absolutely brilliant with my small children who were tired after a long journey, she went out of her way to give them a fun time and show them the local animals - pets and wildlife, we were thrilled to see a massive wild tortoise. Fred was available via whatsapp at all hours. The house was hot but the bedroom air-con helped. The hosts sourced two bikes with child seats for us; helmets were not offered but that seems normal in La Digue (we didn't see any others). Everything in La Digue is very expensive, the guest house felt like good value for us. Good location a few minutes walk from the ferry harbour and even closer to Bikini Bottom beach.

I think the only thing I didn't like is that the house has air conditioning only in the bedrooms, the living room was therefore very warm. Besides that everything perfect!

The place is just perfect! The beach Anse Severe is one of the most beautiful places to do snorkeling and just a 3 minutes walk away. The nearest grocery store is more than 1000 meters away, but the staff gave me a bike to go buy some water and stuff for my kids the breakfast was also perfect and the service AMAZING 🥰 She is so nice with the kids and with everyone 🥰

everything is superlative. we were accommodated in a villa with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioning in each bedroom, cleanliness, kitchen equipped with everything you need, terrace, tastefully decoration furniture, breakfast included and very tasty, those who maintain the accommodation unit with a smile on their faces, eager to help you, bicycles rented from the accommodation at a great price, transfer included from the port, 5 minutes on foot from Anse Severe beach, which I recommend you go to when the water is low and clear, and 10 minutes on foot from one of the most beautiful Anse Pate beache. To the famous Anse Source d'Argent beach, 15 minutes by bike. I strongly recommend this property!

Service was 10+ and good breakfast. Quiet location. Location was close to harbour, 10min walking distance. Outdoor shower was good to clean beach sand. Bike rental service was also 10+.

The bed in our villa Kara was not ideal for me as you sank in quite a lot and then it was really hard to move.

The apartment is really nice and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good with eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, juice etc. And a lot. The apartments are about 5mins from the beach. They are located around a small square where all terraces are facing each other. We didn't mind as we had a kid that was running around and there was another family with a kid so they could play with each other.

Really quiet and peaceful place. The host is very kind and smiley and was trying to make us feel comfortable. They have even surprised as with free transfer from the jetty. Unfortunately we had to atay only for 1 night which is totally not enough to explore this Paradise

Comfortable simple self-contained accommodation with bedroom air conditioning. I didn't use the self-catering facilities but they appeared well appointed. A bit further out of town/north than might suit some, but perfect for me and very close to Anse Severe. Offers bike hire which seemed reasonable price considering appeared better than average model. Kindly allowed a chance to shower after checkout.

Everything was perfect! As everyone has already mentioned, the breakfast is very hearty and delicious. The room is spotless and is cleaned daily. The cooking corner is well equipped. The staff could not be friendlier! Always available and happy to help. They made our stay very special. Many thanks for the very early breakfast they arranged for us on the departure day. Highly recommended place to stay on La Digue and I guess one of the best price-wise.

Something there were mosquitoes that resist any repellent, but it was in rainy season and not often

Mattres was sooo comfortable. Good breakfast (same everyday, but good). Kitchen well equipped. Everything very clean. 5 min walk to a beautiful Severe or "sunset" beach, quite a walking distance to the grosery store. About 15 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. There are bikes to rent.Most travelers explore the island by bike. We don't ride a bike, so we asked Mr Fred for alternative. He offered a day trip by electric buggy car. It was worth the price. He took us on a whole day trip all around the island. If you are not a biker, this is a great way to explore the island. Highly recommend. You can arrange with Mr Fred as well transportation to and from the ferry port. Mr Fred is a great man, kind, friendly, informative with a wonderful sense of humor. His assistant Kenny is wonderful too. Thank you both for a memorable stay!!

The reason for our booking at Island bungalows were high rankings and we were not disappointed. Some 15 minute walk from the location to the center of the village. 100 meters to the Severe beach - quite safe to swim and a wonderful beach. Breakfasts are rather modest but they are enough to get the day started. The cottage was impeccably clean and the mattress very comfortable.

My husband didn’t like that it is located near cemetery. Most bikes given for rent are really old and broken. Also we were told bike rent would be 300 rupees for two people for two days. But next day they said it is 600, “sorry for mistake”. You can’t do it.

The location is very good - a walking distance from a ferry. Also has few beaches nearby. The bungalow has a beautiful garden view, a lot of greenery and flowers. The bed arrangement is beautiful. The wooden window frames are one love. The breakfast is ok.

Very cozy bungalow, close to the beach. Kitchen, fridge, airco, comfy beds and affordable bike rental service. Pick up, and drop off at the jetty, even though is only a couple of hundred meters, but with bags and a kid, it's helpful. Super friendly staff. Thank you, hope to see you again
