Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelOur time here was beyond perfect. When me and my soon-to-be fiancee arrived from the ferry to La-Digue (when they picked us up) I told the managers at the time (Mike and Kate) that I plan to propose the morning after, and asked for their help. Mike not only picked me up personally and took me to meet the photographer that same night, but he also picked me and my fiancee to the proposal location (on the other side of the island, grand-anse beach) the morning after, using his golf-cart. Kate also assisted with distracting my fiancee while I planned everything out with Mike. This kind of service is rare! Thanks again to Le-Nautique for everything. Beyond all that, it is worth noting that: 1. The Hotel itself is very small in terms of how many guests it can host at the same time, making it a true romantic and boutique hotel. 2. The view from the pool is one of the best of the island, showing the sunset over the island of Praslin. 3. The food in the restaurant (breakfast AND dinner) is incredible, one of the best in La-Digue. It is a must! 4. The room we took was amazing. Extremely comfy, designed and decorated tastefully, and had everything we needed at all time.

NorwayEverything! This is a gem. The staff, the room, the facilities and the location. Can truly recommend this. We enjoyed every meal at the restaurant. Felt just like a home away from home. We were very sad when leaving, but if we ever return to La Digue, this is where we will stay.

Everything was perfect, staff was wonderfull and friendly, they gave us recommendations about everything on the island, were extremely helpful and in general made us feel very welcome and special! The area of the hotel is very cosy and beautiful with great views, we had a very comfortable room and felt fantastic throughout our stay, we wish we stayed here longer. You cannot swim at the beach right in front of the hotel, but you can rent a bike and easily reach best beaches of the island. We loved exploring the island by bike, was really awesome. Most often we visited Anse Patates, Anse Severe and Anse Source d'Argent (better come before 10 when crowds start to hit this famous beach). On all of the 3 beaches snorkelling was great and we saw all varieties of colorful fishes, as well as two stingrays playing with each other, a moray eel and a puffer fish.

FranceThat we couldn't stay longer :)
Very good location 5min from the jetty and shops/restaurants. The hotel has its own restaurant which was the best we had on La Digue. Super friendly staff and owners which gave us a warm welcome, explained what we can do on La Digue and even more! Thank you so much! Great breakfast with good choices proposed with seaside view. The swimming pool is refreshing after cycling and a day on the beaches. The cocktail bar offers a large choice of great cocktails and gin. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel and they can organize boat trips. The room we had was very confortable, well equipped and with a beautiful view on the sea and Praslin.

IrelandNothing comes to mind, everything was perfect.
Our experience at Le Nautique was simply perfect and far exceeded our expectations. We were there for our wedding/honeymoon and the staff did everything they could to make this moment special for us and our guests. The staff is exceptional, always friendly and ready to help. Our room was huge, clean and tastefully furnished. The property is perfectly located in La Digue and has spectacular pool, bar and restaurant. Food is the best we had in Seychelles. Even the bikes available for rent were much better than those that our friends rented somewhere else. We are especially impressed with the reception we had at Le Nautique after our wedding. Natasha helped us in booking the restaurant for us and our guests, setting up a menu and generally organising everything. We had cocktails before dinner which were amazing and then the table was fully decorated for us. The attention to details was impressive.

PortugalThe only thing we regret is that we could not stay longer! We will surely be back.
Upon arrival, Stuart was expecting us at the jetty to kindly take us to the hotel. He briefly explained us a few things about the island and gave us some tips on what to do, where to eat, etc. Later on, Katy was waiting for us to check in and gave us a map where she pointed out the highlights of La Digue along with valuable and thorough information and her insights as a Seychelloise. The room was very modern and comfortable, including all commodities we needed and both the breakfast and dinner at Le Nautique were very good. In the hotel there is a kayak which can be used by guests free of charge and which we recommend. While doing it, one of us got hurt in the foot by a coral and Stuart was tireless in helping us with the required treatment for the wound. When we were about to leave, he was waiting to give us a lift to the jetty, which we were not expecting at all and was a gesture that we really appreciated. Thank you so much to all the team at Le Nautique for those amazing days.

United KingdomThe sea view from the outside terrace of deluxe seaview room number 5 was mainly of the restaurant, a feature I think should be reflected in the price when compared to the other deluxe room
Le Nautique lived up to all expectations, it's superb. Deluxe seaview room - extremely clean, spacious, lovely decor, very comfortable bed, great air conditioning. Restaurant- right next to the sea, serves up a delicious breakfast each day with many options, and catered for my vegan diet. Pool - small but refreshing and great to look at. Bar - wonderful design and cocktails, thanks Vinod. Sunsets - 👍 However the icing on the cake at Le Nautique is the service provided by the staff. Stuart and Natasha, thanks again for being so helpful and accommodating, and such a joy to deal with. It is that service with a friendly smile that above anything else allows me and Denise to both highly recommend staying here

NorwayJust had some WiFi problems. Everything else was perfect here.
Nautique Waterfront really is a good choice when on La Digue. We loved the location, the room, the food, the drinks, the service. Everything. There really is nothing bad to say about this place, except I had some problems with the WiFi but it seems like it’s all over the island anyway. They are so accommodating and helpful at Le Nautique and their bartender makes really good drinks, not just sweet drinks as in many of these typical vacation places. The sunset at this hotel is just incredible and for that itself it’s worth it. Taking a dip in the pool before dinner in the evening is the best way to end an exciting day.
