I can’t think of any negatives, highly recommend!

The apartment is directly above the water. You don’t hear the road above at all which is very relaxing, all you hear is the sound of the waves! You’ll find all the amenities you may need including a washing machine which was particularly handy. Clean & modern, what more can you ask for. Easy access by car or bus. Special thanks to the staff who was very friendly and helpful.

There was nothing we didn't like. Maybe a little place in the garden would be a nice addition, where you can sit and relax outside.

The room was perfect, even better than on the pictures. The view was really outstanding and we can't get used to it. Our host was not in the property, but communication was good and quick, she help us renting a car wich was really trouble free. The crew was really kind and helpful, fulfilling every request of ours,and even letting us checking in early as she saw my wife is pregnant and really tired after the flight. The room has equipped with everything you need for self catering, it was clean. I highly recommend it.

There nothing we didn’t like.

Our stay at Maka Bay Residence was perfect. As other reviews point out, it is an ideal spot in the north of Mahé. It is a very well thought out concept with a perfect execution. The view cannot be any better (don’t book if the noise of the ocean bothers you!). The balcony is wide, protected from the sun and rain with great quality furniture and it is private. The entire apartment is clean, well designed and well equipped. It feels spacious. Everything is of high quality. The support from Nicole and Pooja is efficient and discreet at the same time. They tought of everything, every details. They are friendly and welcoming. The location was great for us. The entire place is safe, including the parking which is a bonus. Honestly, I do not know what I would change. You are bound to enjoy yourself at Maka Bay Residence. We sure did and we would not hesitate to book again. And again!

The windows are not totally isolating and you can hear the sea, super nice but maybe not the whole night if you have a light sleep. Dinners were a bit complicated as no restaurants are close by, plus they close early in the island. Best option is to buy food at the supermarket and cook in the apt.

The views from the room are amazing, the bed was really comfortable and the location, close the some great beaches.

Sometimes the waves are loud, and if you are a light sleeper sound can wake you up. Location could be better, you have to walk a lot for bigger beaches or take a bus. Also to find.bigger store. It is not very suitable for walking. There are not many restaurants nearby.

The view is beautiful, and the room is very optimally built, you have everything that you need. Very comfortable stay. There is a small beach and the store near the house, and the bus station is very close by. The Internet was fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped, I really liked that.

It’s a long drive out , but it is worth the effort. Seychelles is for the beaches and nothing else really , so don’t expect to find many options for going out and shopping etc

Maka Bay was a wonderful surprise for us. Staff is kind and always available to help with suggestions and reservations. The owner also shared with us a lists of activities which were taking place during our stay. The room was super clean, with a beautiful view on the ocean and lot of space. It was full equipped in case you want to prepare your meals. We spent 5 incredible days at Maka Bay and we fully recommend it. It’s important to rent a car if you want to visit the island

Apartment together with the views is amazing. Parking is behing an automatic door which opens up with contactless card. Early checkin and late check out were available for us, but we only took late check out for an extra 50 eur, which was well worth it, because we were able to go to the beach for the whole day, came back, pack, shower and rest a little bit before checking out at 5 p.m. and went to the airport. Apartment is practically new, with a huge balcony/terrace overlooking the ocean. From every part of the apartment you have an unobstructed view of the ocean. Even the walk-in shower has it's own window, so you can enjoy the view even when showering :) The beach, which is not suitable for swimming, is right under the building, so you constantly hear the waves smashing into the rocks. We like the sound of waves, so we slept like babies. AC is doing it's job well to keep the whole place cool. Also wifi is working good. This was certainly one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in and would book this place again.

- the view is phenomenal - the room is perfect - you have everything you need - we conscious waived a car and used the bus. You have to stations near the house. It’s better to buy the ticket in Victoria or at the airport. Every trip costs 10 r

We didn't have a car (which I would recommend). There are local buses nearby which we used to get around but they aren't regular so we ended up waiting for a long time at times!

Pooja was super friendly and helpful and the room was clean with an amazing view of the ocean.

not related to the maka bay itself but beware that the surrounding supermarket is very small (may not have all the essentials) and just be prepared that the property is a little out the way so taxi trips will be more expensive

loved the views, facilities (loved that there is a washing machine), late check out (up to 7pm) was perfect for those who have evening flights.

Internet connection could be better - it is enough for regular work, but video streaming may have problems in prime time. It is not up to the apartments and more or less applies to the whole of Seychelles.

Fantastic terrace on the rock above the sea - beautiful view and the soothing sound of waves. The apartment is comfortable and contains everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The staff is very friendly.

Beautiful accommodation with a spectacular view! Huge terrace with a wall of sliding glass doors to make the most of the view - perfect for meals, watching the ocean and as a bonus, a tree just a few meters away which early evening, you can watch the fruit bats (aka flying foxes) land clumsily on the branches. We also saw a pod of dolphins just off the coast one morning while we were eating our breakfast. The apartment is stylishly furnished, well equipped (even a washing machine) and the window in the shower out to the the ocean offers a gorgeous view. No one can see you in the shower, but if you're feeling modest, there is a curtain too. We had a car, but there's a bus stop 5 minutes away. Right behind the bus stop a flight of steps takes you down to a lovely beach. There are shops close by too. Nicole and Pooja were amazing, so helpful and kind and on our last day looked after our luggage until we were ready to head off for our flight. There's even a shower just by the secure off road parking if you need to wash the sand off before your flight. 100% recommend.
