Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

RussiaThe property is located high in the mountains far from the sea and you need the car to get somewhere, but I think if you select it you are ready in advance to rent a car and moving through the island by car.
The apartments are clean, cozy, everything is thought out to the smallest detail and corresponds to the description. Linens and towels are clean and new. there was a feeling that we were expected: Daphnee provided us with eggs, tuna stew, pasta, potatoes, onions, garlic and seasonings with oil for the first time. Daphnee was very welcoming and attentive to us. The apartments were cleaned and towels replaced every three days. The area is very picturesque and well-groomed, birds are singing.

The place is super clean, Daphnee welcomed us at thd front of the house she made sure we have all we need, provided us witb her contact just in case we need help. We found lots of stuff to use including the eggs from her chickens. The pkace have all you need to be comfortble. I will difinetly go back go her place in the future, very very polite , frendly, caring, and clean person. Thank you Daphnee for beimg a wonderful person.

RussiaEverything was great! Just one suggestion: use Google Maps to find the house, the location is exactly where the house is. We used the GPS coordinates provided on booking.com, and we were led to the wrong place at first
This house and its host, Daphnée, left very warm memories! The place is very well equipped with everything you need during the stay. Spacious kitchen, living room with a comfy sofa and coffee table, big bathroom, and cozy bedroom. Daphnée is truly the most hospitable host we had during our trip to Seychelles: very kind and polite, she welcomed us with some local delicacies: tuna, potatoes, onions and tomatoes from her own garden. Coffee and tea were provided as well. One day she also made a traditional Creole dinner for us: grouper fish, rice, green papaya salad and lentils, and it was just amazing! Such a pleasant surprise! The place is centrally located. Mostly, we visited the beaches on western side of Mahe, about 20-minutes drive, but Victoria and Eden Island are also quite close. We highly recommend this place to stay.

Super clean, great kitchen (also with eggs from Daphnee´s hens!), drinking water. Powerful AC (even though the temperature outside is very nice at night), parking for your car. Daphnee is a wonderful person, gives you your own space but if you need, she gives you nice recommendations.

FranceMy sister and I stayed at Mountain Top Chalet for 8 days. We spent a wonderful time there! It is a beautiful and quiet place with an incredible hostess. Daphnée is such an amazing woman. She is so caring and kind. And she cooks very well. 😋 She made us discover seychellois meals. She also guided us for our Seychelles visit. It was such a great experience! The view at Mountain Top Chalet is gorgeous. You have to experience it. We truly recommend this place and we sincerely thank Daphnée for her welcome.😘

From helping me rent a car, to preparing dinner for me, to finding another place to stay for a few hours when I decided to prolong my stay (unfortunately, her place wasn't available).
