Great property, great host, great getaways! Would book Otantik Residence again if coming back to Seychelles.

Unfortunately the location made it to us difficult to get everywhere we want by feet, unless we had already booked a taxi or a car ride.

The house was excellent and very comfortable. Very clean and well designed. Janet and Benjamin were far more polite, helpful and kind.

The location was not preferable for me. The rest was great.

The owner is amazing, he helped us a lot knowing about Mahe and Seychelles even before staying. He picked up us at the port. The accommodation is good and they really care about many details to make our stay better. This place didn't work for us as expected, as I have a child and is not convenient. The location is not what I prefer when traveling but some people love being far away from everything and having their own heaven. It's mostly for couples to enjoy stunning view from the balcony in any part of the day. To drink a wine, chill and and enjoy the balcony. That is if you take upper apartment, for one on the first floor, I have no idea. Really romantic if you're traveling as a couple. But as I said it's far away from the shops, beachs and attractions. You MUST have a car. Thanks to Benjamin and good luck.

we loved everything about it, but if you do not have a car and don’t like walking this can be a bit outside of everything. bus stop doen the road though but can be a bit unreliable when it’s weekends and holidays.

new beautiful apartement in a very nice location. Benjamin and Janet were the best hosts ever, even picked us up when we got stranded! exceptional service and very very comfortable and quiet, amazing to be in the middle of the forest and with a fantastic view.

The location was good with a beautiful view over Victoria. There are bus stops close to the house. Walking to Beau Vallon/Victoria is possible, but the road is VERY steap, and you will need to be in good physical shape.

Benjamin is a really kind host. He was really helpfull and arrangered transport to Beau Vallon/the airport against a small fee. The room was spotless and well equiped.

Overall, I could not have found a better location and above all a better host given my short, impromptu booking done on arrival. Within minutes, Ben/Janet had messaged and called me with airport pick up within 10mins. Also giving me a tour of the city as we headed to property. Apartment had all amenities a world traveler would need and you simply can't beat the view from the balcony. Hosts live next door so all your concerns and inquiries are attended to in real time if any. Full kitchen utensils for cooking, free snorkeling gear , comfy bed( good sleep) , washer , Netflix and more, everything was exactly as described. Area is safe. Benjamin/Janet make sure you get the full Seychelles experience with their recommendations irrespective of your tight schedule: I loved the botanic garden, Praslin/La digue boat tour etc. I am definitely coming back, this time more than 3days lol. Your guys are the BEST !!!!! Take care

Nothing. We liked everything

Otantik residence honestly exceeded our expectations. It is easily one of the best accommodation in Mahe Island. Lets start with the apartment- bathroom, kitchen, balcony, and bedroom is spacious, clean and had everything we could possibly need. It was basically home away from home. The room is cleaned every 2 days, and we were provided with clean towels every 2 days as well. Location is brilliant as the apartment is close to many of the attractions we wanted to see, including the botanical garden, Copolia trail, Morne Seychelles National Park, Sir Selwyn-Clarke Market etc. My wife and I basically walked to see the attractions places and to the market for foodstuffs. If you don't want to walk, you can always take the bus, which is literally a 2 minutes walk from the residence. We had an amazing view from the balcony and nice breeze. The owners, Janet and Benjamin are simply amazing. They are very helpful, friendly, welcoming, and kind. Benjamin checked up on us often and showed us the shortcuts, ways to get around, and generously gave us a ride anytime we needed a ride/pick up. It was that good that we wanted to stay there for the entire duration of our stay, i.e for a month, unfortunately, the subsequent days were already booked by someone else. We will definitely go back to Otantik when we come to Seychelles and 100% highly recommend Otantik residence to anyone coming to Seychelles.

Nice location up in the hills, with breathtaking views, and relatively close access to the town and hiking spots. Apartment was nice and clean, with everything you might need during your stay. Hosts Janet and Benjamin were both extremely nice, welcoming and generous. They help you with absolutely anything, drive from/to the airport, getting to know the town, best places and venues, events in the town.. Once they will put up the food services for the guests as they are planning to, your stay at their property will be really exceptional. :)

Nothing at all. This property is amazing for short or longer stays.

The hosts of this property were amazing and so friendly. They picked me up from the airport and helped me exchange currency. I arrived late at night as well. They gave me a tour of Mahe and had suggestions for places to go when I returned, and even dropped me off at the marina early in the morning. The place itself was so clean, had a kitchen, working TV, nice shower, and the bed was very comfortable as well. I loved my short stay here and thought it was very affordable for all that you get!
