i like the room, it has everything that you may need, AC, fan, mirror.. We didn´t use the kitchen but if you need to use they have everything. and house owner arranged us taxi from the jetty and also bikes and she offered us a nice home made local drink which was really good!

Bicycle were in bad shape and pricy compared to other places we have been to. The taxi that we ordered was late and arrived by the really last minute. It was stressful and unnecessary.

A very clean and well-maintained place. The administration is friendly and always available to help with any questions. Daily cleaning is provided, and the rooms are equipped with all necessary amenities. Additionally, each room has its own kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare any dish I really enjoyed the hotel's location; it's slightly inland from the beach, but just a 3-minute bike ride along a smooth road. This allows you to live among the local population, observing children playing in the streets. It's very charming and offers a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture. We were very pleased with this aspect. At night, it's quiet and peaceful, without any disturbances or noise I highly recommend visiting La Digue Island for at least 4-7 days. This place will forever remain in my heart; it's incredibly beautiful. The local residents are very warm and welcoming. The atmosphere here is distinctly different from Mahe. We split our vacation between these two islands, and believe me, La Digue will leave a lasting impression on you When choosing places to eat, give preference to places with local Creole staff! They have very delicious cuisine unlike establishments where the staff is Indian

Citadelle is set back from all the hustle and bustle among all the locals so you get an authentic experience of the island. We luckily stayed in the upstairs apartment so we had lovely views of the green hills from our balcony. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We were even gifted fresh fruit. The bed is comfortable, kitchen a decent size and a fair size balcony as well. It is quite close to all you need. Just a short bicycle ride to shops, restaurants and beaches. At night the streets were quite well lit so it made traveling in the evening easier.

Apartment is in a residential area, so if you want local experience is the right place. Quite area but close to the center and from here able to reach out all area of the island in 20 min bike. i really appreciate the quite around,

Talma and her family are very kind and always willing to help. We also rent the bicycles from them and they always took care that the bicycles will be performed us. The kitchen is amazing 💕 the room is beautiful and the location is very convenient. Close to the supermarket and to the jetty. I hope we will visiting again amazing La Digue and if we do so we will book in Pension Citadelle again 🫶

The host is very kind and very helpful. She always has a smile and the kind word that makes you feel at home. The room up stair is good. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you can need to make your meals. Appreciate the stay here and thanks for keeping our luggage for the day so that we can visit before taking the ferry.

The only thing is that it is a bit far from the center, but most of them are too. And that in the maps.me application it is not well located. so the first time I advise you to hire a ride, since it is not very signposted, and on the way back you already value doing it yourself or not

the room is very good with a very large bed. the bathroom is also perfect although it misses something more bathroom products. Besides, you have a very complete kitchen, perfect to do whatever you want. Talma, the owner, charming and attentive. we have a problem with the bikes and she solved the problem very friendly

We have to say that the neighbourhood was noisy during some of the nights due to barking of a dog nearby, but of course this is something the owners cannot influence. I personally found the bed a bit uncomfortable.

Our room was nice and very clean, with a nice balcony and a well equipped kitchen. We appreciated a lot that rooms are cleaned every day. We had everything we needed for a great stay in La Digue. The owners also facilitated our bike rental and transfer from the ferry by local providers (although quite expensive, like everything in La Digue).

Wow! Talma and her family are the best, very warm, kind and helpful people. If you want to experience real life with local people on La Digue you have to stay here. The room was very clean and fresh. Kitchen very well equipped. Everyday cleaning. We rented tandem bike and was very good. Totally recomend it!

It was hard to find it on google maps/maps me even though it is so close that you could go by walk. Also, what we did not like was that we explicitly said pre-arrival that we did not want a taxi at arrival, but someone from taxi service was expecting us at the ferry. But after this experience, everything went smooth and nice, so it did not bother us too much.

Very clean apartment with everything that you need (a well equiped kitchen), a small veranda with a place to have lunch, cleaning was performed on a daily basis. location is close to the ferry and island center. The guest helped us with the bicycle rental at a correct price. The guest also waited us with a cold guava juice, which was excellent. Keep in mind that you need to pay in cash only (eur, usd or scr).

Nothing, everything was great. We would have loved to stay longer.

The breakfast was very yummy always with fresh fruit and juice and the owner is super friendly! The apartment was so clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We had our own balcony and table where we enjoyed the evening outside. Here we did not issues with mosquitoes.

What do you need to be completely happy when you come to La Digue? 5 star hotel? Pools and SPA? NO,Europe is full of all this! We come to La Digue for the taste and smell of this marvelous island, to live a little with the locals, hospitable, open-hearted and pure as children! This house has all of the above. Plus, a separate kitchen with access to the balcony / terrace, an excellent shower room with a good pressure of water, everything is clean to shine, well-groomed, the bed - when you fall asleep like a dead man and sleep until morning, all the accessories in the kitchen and in the bath, at your request, the hostess will wash the clothes and bring them folded in the morning. We will be back !!

We would definately recommend this place. Talma prepared a wonderful dinner for us! The room is clean and confortable. They also helped with the bike rental. It is a perfect choice and value for money in La Digue :)
