Rosemary's Guesthouse is located on Anse Volbert beach and near several restaurants and small shops. The rooms are basic, but clean, and have A/C, a hot shower and a small deck with a view of the ocean. The ocean is literally just steps away and nearby boats can be hired to take you to other islands and beaches. The only downside is the spotty WiFi, but that's an easy fix. Traveler Tip: The bus from the jetty (12 Seychelles rupees) will take you to a stop that is just 300 meters from the guesthouse. No need to hire a taxi if you have small bags.

The day we had to leave.

We were very well taken care of, the owner helped us with organizing trips, tours etc., provided us with the occasional fruit serving from the garden (free of charge) and we even got some home made banana jam. The accommodation itself was also very nice, the location absolutely brilliant. Would visit again!

The internet speed was horrible. I had to go outside to use some internet.

The guest house was right at the beach so you could wake up to a nice view if you stay upstairs. The host welcomed me with a nice juice which was very sweet of him! I had breakfast their which was slightly heavy for me but good enough. There is a store walking distance where I could get alcohol from and chill at the beach and a food truck where you could eat local food from between 12-2 pm. Octopus and coconut curry was the best!

There is no wifi, so you have to have local card. You may not like evening hangouts of the locals not far from the hotel near the market.

Perfect, amazing, best of the best location. Back gate leads to the beach. You don’t need a pool because the sea here is a perfect calm warm pool available 24/7. Two restaurants and mini markets nearby. Fruit and fish counters in three minutes walking. Due tu this is the dead end of the road the place is rely calm and cosy. Guesthouse has assorted trees and flowers on the territory. French omelette for breakfast and banana jam was very tasty. Friendly owner which can help with taxi and boat trips.

Ongoing maintenance is an issue and we didn't like the feel of the bedsheets.

It's all about the view. You could sit on the balcony of the upstairs apartment 7 for hours listening to the sound of the waves and watching activity on the beach. It's magical...

breakfast was decent though we got one day a rotten egg. they wanted to change it to be fair to them bit it took the hunger away. other than that all good on the breakfast side. internet connection is as bad as it gets and the management knows it. if you go there to combine work and leisure then either ensure you got a local sim to do a hotspot or choose another venue. other than that staff was helful and kind all the way in

by mistake i booked a ‘budget room’(60 euro/night), the rooms smells horrible: dampfness and humidity( in the walls and furniture)..the mattress was very comfortable, the men from the reception: very nice and helpful! the other rooms with 100 euro/night was nice but there was no room available.. so take a room with 100 euro/night! the see in front of accomodation has stingrays in very small water so mind your steps( because most of the time they stay hiden in the sand

The room was a bit dated and some furniture was broken or drawers and cupboards wouldn't close properly.

The location and 100% the view. Can't get better for beachfront and view. Plus the location is in the community which you access from the back. Note that everyone is home by 9pm at the latest. It's still super quiet at night even though you have other hotels and restaurants nearby.
