We enjoyed the stay, room was clean and spacious. The guesthouse is very close to anse sourse d argent beach, also near a few good take aways. Their breakfast was delicious, dinner too with local creole dishes. Property run by a great family, very polite and helpful. We forgot our toddler's teddy and we realized when we were back in our country, they were kind enough to keep it, send it to us and attend to all the extra minor issues we encountered with dhl. Cannot thank them enough

Charlotte and the entire team are great hosts. Very friendly and always available. The location is excellent, located in a nice garden next to a park. The room was quite large, very clean and from the terrace we were able to watch the bats. We very much enjoyed our stay and its definitely worth to come back.

Sometimes ants, like elsewhere in the Seychelles. Sometimes there was no hot water. Dinners were too expensive for us, so we ate in take aways.

Welcome drink. Quick check in. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The best we had in Seychelles. Simple but clean accommodation. Clean bathroom. Daily cleaning. Each room has a terrace and the possibility of sitting in the garden. Dryer available for each room. Bicycle rental with lock for 100 rupees per day. In case of a problem, just call and your bike will be replaced wherever you are. It happened to us, and the gentleman arrived with a new bike within ten minutes. The possibility of renting towels for the beach, which we were happy to use. A great starting point for exploring all parts of the island. Close to 4 take aways, a large supermarket. The possibility of organizing trips, but we didn't use them.

Everything was perfect!

The guest house is well located in the middle of the island, the room was not very modern but was big, very clean and the bed was comfortable. They clean the room, changed our towels and sheet beds almost every day. The food was excellent, better food we eat on the island during our stay. Every morning we received an very healthy breakfast with fresh local fruits, fresh juice, pancakes, bred, butter, gem and eggs(omelette, scrambled, boiled) coffee, tea, milk.. At the dinner we get different traditional creole kitchen food, mostly with fish. They exceed our expectations with the food. Even in the most expensive traditional restaurants from the island we did not eat so well. The hosts were very nice, they took good care of us to have a great time. They rent us bikes(in the best price from the island) they give us the umbrella when we needed, make for us early breakfast when we left earlier in a trip, recommended us the best options for trips, lunch, taxi, all what we needed... We highly recommend the location.

Only stayed for one night with breakfast included . The room was spotlessly clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is about 15 min walk from the ferry port and central area of the island in a quiet area near Veuve Nature Reserve. We had to leave on the 7am ferry so the property provided breakfast in the room to eat before we left.

Drinks at the diner are not included in the price and have to be paid separately. We think that at least water or one drink could have been included for this price. People serving food should cut their finger nails. You could smell the shared toilet (detergents) in the dining area.

Very lovely hosts and staff, very familiar, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Very very good location on the island! Possibility to rent bicycles for 100 rupees per day on-site! Possibility to get beach towels for free, to get a taxi called, and to get guided tours organized on-site. Option to get a take-away breakfast organized already the evening before! We need to highlight the diner, as it was really tasty, local and fresh food, with a lot of meat/fish. Considering that the sunset is very early, 7pm diner was good timing. It was very practical and comfortable that we had such a good diner option at our place, and that we did not have to search for dining options in the city. Every dinner, we had local fresh fish, and additionally some other meat, with big/sufficient portions.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rising Sun a lot! The guesthouse was well maintained, cleaned and very green (lots of flowers). Our hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious and excellent. Dinners were local creole cuisine, and resulted in fish dishes, which we absolutely loved. We were so happy that have opted in for the dinner. Definitely recommend it! Our room was facing the road, however due to the low traffic (and lack of cars),it was very peaceful and thanks to the garden also very beautiful. The room was clean and spacious, with both AC and fan to ensure comfort sleep. We could rent bikes on the premises, which again made our stay even easier. The location of the guesthouse is great. A perfect spot to explore both south and north of the island. The jetty is 15mins walk away, and there 2 supermarkets nearby with fresh food, snacks,drinks,alcohol, and cupboard/shelf food options. One of the best island's take-away is just next door, which made it convenient for when lunch was needed.

The place is really nice and not far away from the center or Anse Source d'Argent beach. Also Kate, the receptionist, was always really helpful with all our queries and requests. Making our trip as much comfortable as possible.

It's a guesthouse which is managed by a really and polite local family! Breakfast are simple, but really good with a fruit platter, bread, jam and eggs, while the dinners are absolutely delicious and in large portions. Mary is really polite and helped us with booking couple of tours for us during our stay. Bike rental come for 100SCR per day, which is a really good price for the island.

It was very nice place to stay in La Digue. Its guesthouse run by family. We rented bikes there too. Young man was very willing to change and set everything what we needed on bikes. He was very nice. Breakfast was good, it was same almost every day but we were satisfied. Everything was tasty, only eggs were a little bit soft for us, but we found out omelet is cooked well so we choosed omelet every day. Dinners were amazing. It was a small bufet everyday, everything was very tasty. During our stay there were more kinds of fishes, octopus curry, grilled chicken end very good salads too. If you will stay in Rising sun choose dinners too! Thank you to everybody in this Guesthouse. They made our stay wonderful!

The play is really close to supermarket and take away area as well as good location for starting exploration any direction. Love the breakfast especially omelette.
