In Mahé is always better to rent a car but you can also move around by bus and Beryl will let you know cool places by bus.

Beryl has a very beautiful house and garden and from the first moment she made me feel at home and as if we had known each other for a while. We had nice chats and she was always making sure I was back at night at her place. For a female solo traveler I recommend this place 100%.

Everything perfect. Beryl is a great guest. she speaks many languages, including excellent italian, she prepares very rich and various breakfast, she has a beautyful garden with all the tropical fruits. The house is cozy and confortable. The view from our deluxe room was great.

For a perfect 10 rooms needs some refurbishment.. quite old furniture in rooms.

The owner ia very welcoming and lovely tobtalk to and learn about the islands , you fell at home. Deluxe room has excellent views on the mountains. Home made breakfast.

We spent 15 wonderful days and nights at The Orchard Holiday Home. And it was fantastic! The house is very clean and cosy and Beryl and Alam do all the best for their guests! We had a room on the 1.floor with a balkony and a wonderful view to the sea, the garden and the mountains. We spent much time together, because we liked that... but everybody has the  privacy he wants in this house. There are many different places to sit and relax in the house and the garden. Sure, there are some rules for the guests. But we think that's important! Alam is a very nice guy, who cleans the house and the garden every day. And we know, he's a very good cook! Beryl, thank you for everything... for my first golf lessons, for our sunset evening with a beer at the beach, for our good conversations, for the fun and the laughing, for all your funny stories, for the massage in Chantalle's Salon (ask for that!), for the great food and the fresh fruits of your garden! Wonderful home with beautiful garden and outside area. Spacious room with big balcony and clean bathroom. Beryl was an amazing host, she had helpful tips and was always very kind and charming. My partner and I bonded with Beryl and her staff very well, although some tourists might think she is picky about guests following the house rules.

Didnt have a pic of the bathroom as booking.com wants but wanted to highlight other pics and videos about the Orchard Holiday Home (wishful). Beryl is an amazing host, the place was very well maintained, clean and tidy. Besides the ambience and hospitality, the nearby views from the location were gorgeous as the fruits from her garden are beautiful if you visit in season.

Absolutely amazing experience! Beryl, the owner, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. She answered all my questions before we arrived really fast. During our stay she let us use the kitchen for a small additional price, treated us with citronella tea and sugar canes and showed us around her beautiful garden. We paid for breakfasts, so every morning we enjoyed delicious meals with homegrown fruit. The avocado was the best I’ve ever tried! At one point I felt like Beryl was our Seychellois granny and we were visiting her for a holiday. We got a huge room with a nice balcony overviewing the mountains and the ocean. In the evenings cute little friends (lizards) came to visit us and we had some nice time together. Everything at the property is very clean and well-kept. The bed is really enormous but a little short for my husband (he’s 183 cm). However, he didn’t mind since he could easily sleep diagonally. The air conditioner worked well and quiet so we didn’t have to turn it off at night. The location is good. The house is on a hill, which guarantees pretty views. There’s a bus stop not too far away and it’s possible to take a bus both to the ferry and the airport.

Beryl is absolutely wonderful, very kind, helpful, warm hearted person. We felt like home. The accomodation is very clean, neat, organized. There are some rules that make absolute sense and are acceptable for people with basic good manners. Nice location, bit up the hill (can be uncomfortable for someone with no physical condition), but its just few hundred meters. Very calm location with beautiful empty beaches. Wonderful garden with ton of fruit and Beryl always offered some to taste. Very safe place. Definitely recommend 🤗 The kitchen was free to use for making a coffee, tea, using dishes, plus there was small fridge in our room. (We didn't pay for using the kitchen for cooking, which was another option). AC and fan in the room, we only used the AC before going to sleep to cool down the room, but for night time the fan was enough. Bathroom was big and clean.

The lady who owns the house is really courteous and very nice. We could use the kitchen for preparing breakfast and snacks, even if it was no self catering. The garden and property is stunning! So we just can recommend this accommodation!!!

We simply loved Beryls Orchard Holiday house! The place is in strategic position, in calm part of Mahe, surrounding by beautiful nature. From our room we saw mountains and sea. The garden with fruit trees was amazing, Beryl gave us fruit from the garden on the breakfast and she was helpful all the time. Room was spacious and clean. We would stay here again, it is really lovely place. I think it is good to have a car, because house is on the hill. Bus station is down, it is also option, but you have to walk for several minutes.
