Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandVery helpful, smiling staff, doing their best for us to enjoy the stay. Great location only steps away from Anse Volbert, shops, ATM, takeaway, bars and restaurants - but still in a quiet area. 15 min taxi drive from the ferry and 15 min from Anse Lazio. Overall good value for money.

ItalyLike everywhere in Seychelles - the internet is bad. We had to sit near the restaurant so we could have it because in the room it was not functioning at all.
This accommodation has a soul - the people who own it! All the staff was very kind. There is an option to book a dinner in the villa - which we absolutely recommend - so we did it. They prepared for us the fish and the chicken with salad and pumpkin chutney, plus we had a dessert at the end. It was so delicious! Every day the owner was asking us if everything is ok, and we really appreciated it. Breakfast is the same every day - fruits, eggs, toast, jam, butter, cereals, milk, coffee, tea and juice, but we didn't mind. The room is furnished in the old style, but everything is functional and there is enough space. Every day we had housekeeping so it has been kept clean. In front, we had a table with very comfortable chairs. There is parking in front of the reception and in the yard of the house of the owner which is right next to the villa. The location is perfect! It is on a small road, so it is quiet, plus it's very near to the beach and the best takeaway in Seychelles - Ma's.

Icelandit was a very enjoyable stay at villa bananier. The room is equipped with everything necessary: fridge, kettle, coffee, safe, air conditioning, cosmetics in the bathroom. Very helpful staff and the owners of the facility. help rent a car, tours. The landlady allowed us to stay until the afternoon, despite checking out by 10 am. We had many pleasant conversations with her. it is also possible she cook dinner on request. Breakfast is typical and good - toast, fruit, cereals, coffee and eggs, about which you need to tell the staff. highly recommend when staying on Praslin, a few steps from the cote d'or (anse vollbert). perfect location. Also 5minut walking from the best take away on Praslin! I recommend! good quality for a good price. I don't know what more you need during your stay, because we had everything provided.

FranceEverything was great.
It's a nice place to stay, the rooms are not close to each other and there's plenty of free space to sit outside or on the balcony. You hardly see the other guests, intimacy is well respected. The hosts are welcoming and pleasant. You can be independent as there's a kitchen at disposal. Dinner can be taken for 25€ per person and it's worth it. We had an entire grilled Job fish for 2 persons and it was really good !

FinlandEven though it was upgraded room, the air con and fridge made quite a lot of noise at night. Also there was no view at all from the room, just adjacent buildings' walls.
Hostess was really nice and upgraded us to a better room for free. She organised trips for us and was helpful in every way. Location was handy, right in the middle of cote dor. Room was clean and spacious.

UkraineThe room was spacious, but nothing very special: typical islandic décor. The breakfast was served (which is great), still the variety wasn't impressive: some fruit, cereal with milk and eggs (if you ask for them).
The host was very pleasant and helpful. She gave us basic information about the island and suburbs we found really useful. The villa is literary 3 min walk from the beach and a few supermarkets. There are a few restaurants in that area too (Pirogue Restaurant & Bar was the best one). Once we've ordered a dinner at the villa - it was less fancy but definitely tastier than at the restaurant. The atmosphere itself is nice and relaxed. If you rent a car, there is a parking there. The price was really reasonable for both - stay and dinner we've ordered.
