Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaRoom size. It was really cramped. For a room with triple bed there was hardly any space for the luggage. While the availability of an Indian restaurant within the premises gives a bit of comfort but the food quality there was no that great.
Smooth check in and checkout. We were given a choice of floor between 5th and 19th which was great. Quick room services. Great location near by to Lavender MRT, BUS Stop, Little India, Haji Lane & Bugis. Indian restaurant at level one was a bonus.

AustraliaBreakfast was a bit more chaotic than expected, with limited space to move around the food buffet areas. Room being very small was quite limiting. There was no easy space to hang wet bathers after using the pool. With no cupboard space in the room, even tidy guests would struggle to keep the area free from clutter.
Rooms were clean and well presented, although small. Location was good for Little India and the areas around Arab St. Two restaurants for breakfast provided a range of cuisine-themed options. Conveniently close to MRT station, even with bulky suitcases. Laundromat facilities were useful, and provided coin-changing and detergent pod machines in addition to the washers and dryers. There were ironing facilities there, as well as space to fold your clothes if needed.

United KingdomThe rooms were absolutely tiny.. we were a family of 6 with luggage and literally couldn’t move in the rooms.. the bathroom was a shoebox. The lifts are annoying as you can’t use it without the card. The restaurants. One should be able to choose which breakfast they want from the 2 restaurants, we were given the Indian restaurant and we didn’t eat anything as it was all curries and South Indian dishes. Then we were informed there is another restaurant that does continental breakfast. We asked to change to that which wasn’t straightforward as we had to take vouchers and if we didn’t present the vouchers we were refused entry. Why they couldn’t change it in their system I don’t know.. the hotel caters for tourists from the Indian subcontinent..
Location was good.

Sri LankaWell its not a complain, but a concern, for a family of 4 people two adults and two kids (below the age of 12), the booking.com suggested a triple room and not a family room. This room had one queen size twin bed and single bed. I hope they expect the two kids and an adult to sleep in the twin bed and the other adult to use the single bed. We in reality for two kids and for an adult its not enough. So suggest when in the future Booking.com to suggest a family room which has 2 twin beds. In fact i tried to swap the room but for my dates there was no availability.
The view of the room, location and even the breakfast was good. Though i did book room only went for breakfast first day after paying and it was a good selection. We stayed their 4 nights and everyday they cleaned the room when we were out and was very happy to come in after a tiering day. Even the room was little small for a triple size but it was manageable and didn't feel it was cluttered inside. i will happily recommend to anyone👍

MalaysiaSpace - The hotel is somewhat small but it is normal in Singapore since many of the hotels are small as well Room - The noise cancellation is quite bad as I could hear them opening/closing the door, moving chairs etc Quietness - My floor has quite some South Asians staying and they talked very loud at the corridor, quite annoying to be honest Cleanliness - The bathroom door is obvious with the dusts, I can see from the lights. Also, my bathroom has very heavy scent of previous guest and I had to use my perfume to cover the smell. Personally quite ew tho. As you can see from lobby there are tours and travel agents who bring GROUPS of PEOPLE. Imagine that and you will know what I mean.
Location - Superb, near to the city center and MBS. Taxi / Grab is only 10 mins away from MBS while taking bus brings you directly alight in front of the hotel as well. Near to MRT station and there are plenty food choices nearby. Staff - Not bad Amenities - At least provided the basics, and they provided 2 bottles of water each room
