What i didnt like is ... i saw a cockroah in our bed and my partned tried to kill eat it run away and we didnt know where it went .. it was literaly in our bed its too much trouble to complain cause we already checkin out about 2 hours before .. and its new year so we dont bother complaining. But over all everything is nice

Property is quite old, also as required we need two bedroom that are both double and near to each other but didn't happen. My parents have to sleep in a twin bed which is the purpose of our visit to Singapore was a celebration of thier wedding anniversary they need to sleep on a separate bed. As we have a child so weed need to keep the 1 double bed for us.

Breakfast was cold and nothing like the pictures. Sausages were under cooked no bacon and only 1 choice of egg. Coffee was cold overall the breakfast was a let down . Paid for it and value for money was very poor .

"The room size was as expected, which was on the smaller side. However, I did encounter some challenges with the hotel's late check-out policy. Despite requesting an extension of just one hour, the hotel was quite inflexible and declined to accommodate my request. Eventually, I decided to pay an extra $100 to extend the checkout time of one room out of the two, but I experienced a delay of more than 45 minutes before someone came to collect my key card of the room we checked out."

Sound insulation was really terrible - door was thin and uninsulated? There was a family who rented multiple units, and spent their time talking VERY loudly with their children playing in the corridor with their doors open throughout the evening and night. They could be heard very clearly and loudly from my room. Proper sound insulation for each unit would've prevent other guests from being affected by the noise.

Hotel room view was nice. Room was spacious and clean. Location is great as you can get to the Somerset MRT part of Orchard Road very quickly and easily, as well as Dhoby Ghaut MRT side and National Museum.

Rooms were a bit dated. No USB inlets. Aircon units next to rooftop pool were so loud lucky not to have tinnitus. Same girls who were working the streets at night were often hanging around the lobby.

Foyer area is horrible and in desperate need of renovation. They have very large groups staying on tour buses and foyer is always chaotic, and it is quite a small area. Reception staff not in uniforms, not even ironed, crumpled shirts, concierge (if you could call him that) in flip flops! Very unprofessional!

We booked here because of the location and the pool but they didn’t let us know that the pool was being renovated for two months over the time we where there if we had known we would have probably gone elsewhere. Not good not good at all.

The check in process at reception took very long. We stood in line with other guests waiting to check in for way more than 30 minutes. We had been awake travelling for 24+ hours and I nearly collapsed from exhaustion while in line. BTW, the lighting in the bathroom was so dim, I could not see to put on make up, nor could my son see to shave. But if you don't wear makeup or need to shave, the lighting is adequate.

The beds were very comfortable. The location was easy to get to on foot but we had to walk through an ugly little street with uneven pavement and unpleasant smells to get there. The pool itself looked pristine and in fact I chose the hotel specifically because I liked the idea and picture of the rooftop pool on the website, but when we got up there the lawn chairs were rotting gray and the bathrooms were filthy. In our hotel room, everything was perfectly clean, so in the end we were happy enough. The staff was excellent. very friendly, especially the chambermaids.
