The showers are crap. First one only tepid water ... too cool to attend under. Second shower only dribbled water. Third shower only marginally better. buttons mostly didn't work to change from tap to shower etc

The mattress had sunk too much, there was ant in my bed too. You should prepare cash to pay, card is accepted but you have to walk to the coffee near the dorm (5 mins walk - also 3% fee is added)

This dorm was closed to MRT station and the female staff was nice and helpful. My female only room have more than 10 bed but it was thankfully quiet at night.

The best part of the hostel is the friendly staff...During the day, "Jay' is awesome, always cheerful and willing to give a helpful hand. The nigh time check-in guy is also fantastic, calm and ever willing to help. Any issue is resolved fast!! Also like the location quite a bit! Overall hostel provides a fantastic experience.

In our 16 person bedroom there was only one bathroom (shower+toilet without a sink). In addition there were only three bathrooms for the whole floor with three rooms. So the showers were quite busy. Also you couldn’t really use the toilets without getting your feet wet because the showers were basically on top of the toilet seats. The bathrooms were untidy and the showers didn’t function well. The staff (even male staff) came to our only female bedroom without knocking the door which was a bit uncomfortable.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Lockers under the beds were quite spacious and easy to use. There was no need to carry any keys or keycards. The beds were quite peaceful and dark with the dark curtains. The bedroom was clean. Before arriving we got excellent instructions how to get there from the airport.

Some equipment are not adequate. The only 4-number washroom is crowded sometimes at night and the area for public chatting and working is limited. Also, with heated wetty weather and sweaty shirt, I think an easier and cheaper way of laundry could be offered. Besides, can any private lockers set up？Like We saw always in the school or mall with block by block, not just under the bed... Lastly, the Singapore travel or hotel tax upset me with unfold tiny area of mentioning it in the booking. Hey why don't you tell us in Direct and straight way？

The staff is polite and friendly. The facilities in the hostel is good like the bed is soft enough. The hostel is in the mosque street, located in the area of The Chinatown. I spent 2-3 days exploring here around and it's really an amazing place. You can see Sri Mariamman Temple, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, The Chinatown complex, Chinatown point mall, people's park complex and Thian Hock Keng Temple. I think they are all 5-10 mins walking distance. So you can walk out of the hostel can view these attractions easily. Anyway, I think this is really a good place to stay and travel.

The locker beneath the bed is not very high. If your luggage is too large to fit, there is not much room to store it without it getting into other people's way.

Very friendly and helpful host. Wide bed allowing you to store some of your things (e.g. a small backpack) at the foot of your bed overnight to have it within reach during the night/in the morning. Thick curtains for privacy, keeping out (most of) the light. Close to the subway (only a few minutes walk), and even within walking distance of the CBD (about 20 minutes).
