The smell from the old carpets are everywhere, as soon as you step out from the lift. Very unpleasant smell.

I like the view from the window and the customer service. Location is good as easy access to the nearest China Town and close to train station too.

The rooms are a bit outdated but not a huge deal. The gym was spacious but they didn’t provide any towels or water. They don’t offer breakfast option.

Great location On top of MRT with 3 lines yet the area is residential and quiet in general. Very handy to eating places and shops and near the waterfront.

No lounge bar available in evening. Rooms tied . Pool area needs attention loose paving stone . Limited sun lounges. Roof garden as no seating no lighting. Unusual area . Waste of what could be a great area.

Breakfast. We asked a staff member at the front counter to give us a wake up call at 4 am but no one bothered which was very disappointing.

Breakfast was horrible. Location is ok as it was within walking distance to the station. Room airconditioning was too cold. NO matter how much adjusting we did it didn't work. All in all it was quite pricey!!!

receptionist should not have asked for full credit card details for deposit purpose. She tried to copy my credit card numbers to the hotel system. I stopped twice until I asked to call a manager to explain the violation! Credit Card details cannot be copied into any software for any reason. Ok for the request of deposit which can be finalised by the use of POS banking system.

Lacking lounge facilities and the lobby got quite crowded at time with big groups checking in.

Location is good - just outside China Town. I've stayed a couple of times before, so no surprises. It has a very "corporate" feel, but for a quick overnight I'm happy to sacrifice character for efficiency.

Parking was horrible at this hotel :( For those looking to save money, during the day you could park at the hotel parking for SGD 12 per entry (roughly 5 hours of street parking). You can park on the streets at night for free, but remember to start paying after 8.30am the next day.

I really liked that the hotel was located at a prime area, and there was a lot of food in walking distance. The hotel is more spacious than the other hotels I’ve stayed in, and I really enjoyed the space!

Nothing. The room was a good decent size, good comfortable beds, cold aircon, good strong shower.

The location is excellent if you need to use the subway/MRT as it is located just next door to the MRT station (no need to get rained on). There are not many eateries within walking distance. However, It is walking distance to Chinatown, a bit more walking required. The reception was so kind to allow us early check in at 12pm, as they were not full that day.

Inconvenient bathroom door because it is difficult to come out as the space between the door and wash basin is a bit small. However, i like that one door is meant for both bathroom and toilet.

Only minor comment is that because we arrived early and needed to freshen up, the small facilities on the ground floor aren't ideal so probably worth using the airport facilities.

The Dorsett is ideally located near Outram Park MRT station and very easy to get to/from the airport and other sites within the city. We arrived very early and completed the pre check-in and were able to leave our luggage until our room was available at 3. The hotel is within easy walking distance to Chinatown. The room was modern and spacious and had everything you needed. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool which we used on our second day and also a small gym.

The room was small. The original room did not have a outward facing window and needed to request a different room. When paying, the rate given by the terminal for paying in your card's currency was SIGNIFICANTLY different than the actual exchange rate. For the the cost of the room, I would not say this met my expectations for value.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff was nice. The bed was comfortable and appreciated the amenities in the bathroom. Internet speed was great in the rooms.
