Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicBreakfast doesn't really worth it. Evethough there is plenty of food, not much of it one could really eat for breakfast (most of the food is rather suitable for luch or dinner - french fries, mixtures of fried or cooked vegetables with tofu, fried asian dumplings etc.). Better option is to buy some pastries etc. in 7 eleven just across the hotel reception.
Tiny but really nice and clean room with a view to the swimming pool. The location is really good - few minutes walking to the Little India, about 20 minutes to Marina Bay area, there are also small shops (7 eleven and various street food corners) just around the hotel. The electric kettle with facilities for preparation tea or coffee + mini fridge made our stay even more pleasant.

CambodiaThe doors blocked literally no noise, you could hear everything in the hallway. It was so loud! Unfortunately, also, the room was not clean and in desperate need of some deep cleaning, like the walls and the floors.
The location is fabulous and the staff were kind and attentive. The bed was also very comfortable.

United KingdomRoom was a bit small but only really used it to sleep in so it worked for us.
Good price compared to others, bed was comfortable, shower was good, and the room had a filtered drinking water tap which was really good! Nice pool and good little gym were a nice addition to our stay. Close walk to the plaza shopping mall and fort canning park. And easy to get a grab to marina bay sands area.

PortugalWe asked for an earlier breakfast, the staff told us they would prepare something to go and then they forgot. The pool could use some shades. The sun is very intense and mid afternoon there isn’t any shadow. The breakfast should have more intercontinental options.
Good location near the MST. 7Eleven right under. 5 minutes from Little India. Clean rooms and facilities.

AustraliaI don't know, we were not there long enough.
We only stayed a short while for a stop-over. Overall, it met our means. Tidy, cheap and open 24 hrs. I had a quick swim in the morning which was great.

AustraliaRooms were small (but this is normal for Singapore). Shower was small (again, normal) with a shower curtain that sticks to you.
Great location close to the Rocher MRT station and Little India. Good value for money (all hotels in Singapore are expensive!) Excellent pool, kept the kids entertained for hours on those hot sticky days. Breakfast was varied and excellent.

United KingdomGreat location with Rochor metro station a couple of minutes’ walk away and a short walk to Little India and Bugis Junction. Room was nice and quiet, and clean, and staff were helpful, letting us leave our bags there all day in a secure cupboard after we checked out.

MalaysiaThe hotel has lots of big, noisy family groups, and the hallway to the rooms aren’t soundproof. The shower stall is tiny and the entire toilet gets wet easily. The room is also on the small side so not much space to open a large luggage.
The location was next to the MRT and it has a pool which is rare for hotels in that price range. The lift is pretty fast. Room is small but has spaces to store small hand luggage. Free breakfast.

Czech RepublicThe shower was alright, however, the shower curtain wasn't retaining the water very well and the shower gel wasn't being refilled when the room was getting done. These were the only two things I didn't like, however, the hotel is very nice and extremely well located.
I loved the location which was relatively close to the metro stop "Little India" which made it really easy to reach both Marina Bay and also the station we needed to reach the Universal Studios which we visited as well. The breakfast was alright and the room had a very nice view.
