Not very clean. Dirty sheets. Some of the staff were not very helpful or welcoming. You can hear the other guest very clearly from the corridor and adjacent rooms when you are in the room.

The staff was not alert when I had arrived. The door is not auto open, and I couldn’t see anyone inside, I tried to open the door. When I stepped in instead of saying he didn’t open the door for me, he said he should wait for him to open. I think he should be more alert and not to blame customer for being too fast.

The length of the bed is short with respect to my height (175cm). Had to sleep diagonally.

The rooms were abit too small for us. I would suggest that the bathroom be separate from the toilets as the toilet gets wet after having shower.

It was a ridiculously small room. When we first checked in, the man at the counter told us that he was upgrading us for free to a room with a window. However, when we got to the "upgraded room" it had two twin beds. Our original room had a queen bed. A queen was what we had booked. We went back and requested our original booking. He warned us that it was a small room and he was not kidding. It was wall to wall bed with a couple of stairs to lead up to it. There was only ONE power outlet in the entire room and it was for the water kettle. We could not charge our phones at the same time. My wife and I had no space to move at the same time. Even if we had taken the upgrade, it was still a very small room (plus would not have the queen bed I had asked for). The going rate for this room is $200 SGD/night. I know that Singapore is an expensive city, but this was disappointing. The previous season we had stayed in a 2-star hotel about a block away. We knew we liked the neighborhood, but wanted to upgrade. Sandpiper is a 3-STAR hotel. So, it costs more, but is actually smaller than the 2-star hotel we stayed in last time. If you plan to actually spend ANY time in your hotel room, I would not recommend this place. If you just want a place to crash for the night, you can make due.

The staff was great and the hotel is incredibly clean. We enjoyed the people we met and our few concerns were dealt with immediately.

staff at reception talk rude not allow to explain situation.. even admit the mistake and apologise the staff treat rude in front of my friends i not book for hourly ok i book for 2 days for my friends but the way i has been treated is like i book for hourly for some other things

I think nothing much that i can complain about this hotel. It value for money. For outstation worker like me, it just meeting my expectation for my short time travelling. I hope this note really help other to make a good choice.

The room is clean and toilet also clean. It just small for big person like me. Good for people that travel for working. When I arrive, the receptionist explain well to me. To me all is OK. The most important the hotel clean and no bad smell.

Seriously, one of the worst hotel I stayed at. Staff behaviour awful, is it overworked less payment or lack of training, I dont know what it is. They dont even acknowledge you if you greet them good morning/afternoon/night. Only one staff smiled at us only once, rest three staffs were always had a look that they are annoyed by our presence and they are doing us favour by letting us live there. 96^ft may seem big, but in reality no. We did not have place to walk around the bed (less than 12 inch space around the beds), or put our suitcases away (one small suitcase and one large suitcase). No cabinet/safe in room to put your clothes. No table (small 8" counter is there running along bed, just making movement around the bed even harder). Bad room smell made stay even harder, when asked to spray air freshner the staff was visibly annoyed. Hot water shower is another joke. We tried keeping the geaser on for 3-4 hours without much fruitful results. Did housekeeping only once, wanted to make the bed with an old bedsheet, when we requested for fresh bedsheet they made the bed with a dirty bedsheet which had visible stains on it, staff got annoyed when we objected for the dirty bedsheet. Once bed was done the staff wistled at my mother to draw attention and tell her room was ready to use. We gave up on all effort for a better stay experience, we are staying another week in SG, and decided not to extend our stay in the hotel at all. We moved out at the earliest. I won't recommend anyone to stay here. There are far better hotels in this area. Please look elsewhere.
