United Kingdom5 reviews“Apartmentji Matej Cvetek”We arrived during the terrible floods which hit Slovenia in early August which affected transport routes but this was no fault of the host who did all she could to make our stay a good one.
Well equipped apartment in a beautiful setting, close to Lake Bohinj and local shops and restaurants. Host very friendly and helpful. Local area facilities were all accessible by local free buses which was a brilliant touch!

Croatia3 reviews2 helpful votes“Excellent host & perfect location”Some might not like to be woken up by the sunrise. There are no blackout curtains in the bedrooms, but that was NOT a problem for us, as we are used to get up around sunrise. If you will be visiting, make sure to bring a sleep mask.
Excellent location for anyone interested in hiking the nearby trails. It's only a few minutes of walking away from the Mostnica Gorge and Voja Valley, which is a perfect 1-day hike. It's also not far away from the Bohinj lake and Ribčev Laz, and while you could go there by car, it's not very far by foot either. The apartment has all the amenities and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. There's plenty of parking space and we left our car there most of the time. The local Mercator store is just a short walk away.

The apartment has a beautiful view, it is surrounded by garden, river, cows....it is very peaceful. We felt very cosy there. The host is super nice.

And more importantly, we had a wonderful host. The landlady even baked bread especially for us. It is hard to find a more welcoming place.

+ great location. short walk to the Bohinj lake, the beach and Mostnica George + really friendly english speaking host + spacious clean and comfortable appartment + kitchen with absolutely everthing what you might need for cooking + comfortable beds + activities for small children (toy tractor, swing, sand box, board games) + close to the supermarket and bus stop (free shuttles around the lake) + animals such as cows and cats (but without disturbing noise or smell)

The apartman was clean and comfortable, we loved the well equipped kitchen as well! Bedroom was huge and we can rearrange the beds easily. There were board games and so many channels on the TV (yes the weather was rainy but we got 6 umbrellas from the owner). Host was really friendly and helpful every time we asked something. The surroundings are amazing, all the windows look to the Alps, and a river roars under the kitchen window, so relaxing, loved it so much! My daughters loved the apartman so much and they were so loud (sorry from here as well!) but never got any comment about it (owners flat is under our apartman (1st floor) on the ground floor). There were cool toys for our daughters in the garden as well but the peak of the day was when the owner's cows arrived from the alpine pasture and they crossed the road! :)

Netherlands1 review“Wonderful stay in a beautiful area”Very friendly hostesses, a brilliant view from the balcony and a really well equipped appartement. We had a wonderful stay in the appartement as a start and ending point of our 3 day hike in the Triglav national park.
