The location is fairly far away from the main area of Ljubliana and the bed that I was given was damaged at one end.

This hostel is extremely unique in a good way. It feels like you are staying in someone's house and everything is so cosy! There was a dog in this hostel that was adorable which also helps of course.

Only two toilets with showers for 16 guests so it can easily get a line in the morning. A little off location, about 20 minutes walk to the river area where most people are. Another guest that was disturbing, shouting, at night.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quite modern standard as it was a normal house with a garden rearranged to be a hostel.

the room was dusty, only one bathroom(inkl toilet and shower )for one floor. I was always waiting and loosing 15 or more minutes because it wasn't free

Improvements can be made on cleanliness and smell (stuffed rooms, garbage, cooking smell).

As far as my experience goes with different hostel accomodation across Europe, this ona was the best one so far, and that is saying a lot in itself.

I like dogs. Just for others: it's very nice if you're a dog lover since there's a lovely black animal friend asking for some cuddles and attention in the living room 😊 We got connected well ☺️

A really friendly host who makes you feel that you're just staying at a friend's house. Flexible with the arrival times. I would return, next time for more days.

One thing that bothered me a lot was the large, double TL-light on the ceiling. When lying in a bunk bed, on top and you have this shining in your eyes from 1m distance, it actually hurts. It's the only light in the room so turning it off before bed time wasn't an option. This could be done differently. Also the wifi didn't reach my bed, I couldn't use this.

This is a hostel. And what I like about hostels is the relaxed atmosphere, the mind-like guests and the free spirit. The host is a very friendly guy who will help you where you need it. Everything went really smooth. It's located in a dead end street so very quiet, no traffic at all.

There were dogs in reception and in the bedroom. When he arrived, the dog started barking and started licking my toes This is so disgusting If you don't like dogs. This place is not for you, and I do not recommend it to you

The 24-hour desk wasn’t true. We arrived in the morning, and no one answered the door. The messages were not replied to quickly. It didn't feel like a typical hostel; it felt more like living with a Korean family. Being a stranger didn't feel comfortable in this space. There was only one bathroom with no separate toilet for the two hostel rooms. At least one room had 8 people, so the bathroom was always occupied in the morning and at night. You couldn’t find any socket in the bathroom for a hairdryer. The beds didn’t have curtains, so you didn’t have privacy and had to change your clothes in the bathroom, which was one of the reasons the bathroom was so busy all the time.

It is the cheapest one in the Ljubljana.

It is hard to put into words how special Buzahouse was for me, I could just feel it in my heart❤️ But I will try to describe it: it was absolutely magnificent. The atmosphere was better than at home, I was almost in tears when I had to leave. I initially booked for 4 nights, stayed double that. The girls running this house are beautiful human beings, so friendly!! I was also very happy with the folks staying there, it felt like one big family. The house itself is spacious and has a lovely garden. There is everything you need in the kitchen and my dorm was great, I slept like a log. The location was perfect to me: not too close to the centre, so not too noisy but at the same time within the walking distance. Wonderful holidays that I will remember for a long time. Thank you so much🥰

Impressive and nice dog. Nice location, good walk in a nice area to get there from town or from Tivoli park. It’s like a normal house that has several rooms for guests. Family environment. Room with 8 beds. The house has more than one bathroom. Everything is there, it’s clean and you can use the kitchen as well. If I go again, I will remember this place and go. And they have two very nice and friendly dogs

This atmosphere in this accommodation is incredibly unique. The staff here have done a remarkable job at cultivating a cozy environment and welcoming community. This is hands down one of the most memorable places I’ve stayed at, not because of any particularly fancy gimmicks, but because I experienced some derivative of that “at home” feeling that I never had before. Would absolutely recommend this place for the amazing vibes.
