Good value hostel

Clean comfy basic hostel, great staff and good value for money, easy 10/15 min walk to centre of town.

We loved the room, comfortable beds. Lots of storage in the closets. Our favourite was by far the common room, with it's pool table and chessboard. After checkout we had to wait a few hours for our taxi, they allowed us to wait in the common room.

The bathrooms are pretty small and not always clean. Also, there are only two showers and a toilet per floor so you might have to wait in line for a bit, especially in the morning or in the evening.

If you want to travel on a low budget , C- Punky Hostel is a good choice. The room are pretty good and cleaned. The bathrooms are small and not always clean. The location of the hostel is pretty good, it’s about 10 minutes walking from the city center. The hostel is located in a nice and quiet area.

Cleaning at 5:30 AM & talking aloud with receptionist at that early time of the day, or sometimes late at night.

Rectionist was helpful making recommendations and with bus times. He let us keep our bags there after checkout as we had a late flight.

It was a bit chilly this time and I had to ask for a waste bin and some coathangers as there weren't any (not normally the case - I've stayed here a few times).

As usual with this hostel everything was as expected - clean, comfortable & good location with friendly helpful staff.

Young guests get a bit noisy in the night

Not directly accessible by car. I would have appreciated parking directions prior to arrival. Lights were off when I arrived which felt a bit sketchy. Not sure if lights are motion sensitive or on timers.

Wi fi was inconsistent. Need mosquito screens on windows. Poor soundproofing.

there are a bit few communal bathrooms, could do with a few more. the windows only have blackout curtains so in the interest of getting light in but not mosquitoes id love some normal sheer curtains too.

the kitchen and the parking space were awesome, everything was very clean, haven't seen a cleaner bathroom before.

Slightly further out of the city (10-15 minute walk), amongst a school/university campus, group who was staying were very loud and a bit disruptive (but not hostels fault), hand towel only provided, rooms quite small

Good common room with billiards table, comfy beds, well equipped common kitchen with fridge and utensils, lovely staff who give good recommendations. Overall an ok hostel.

Wifi is very slow.

Noise from the neighboring cafe lasted until after 23 on weekdays, the men’s and women’s bathroom were separated only by a “half wall”, but other than that we really liked this hostel

Close walk from the center. Good value for money. My room (private single room) was comfortable and decently clean. Basic but enough. Bathrooms were clean. They let my luggage stay for couple of hours after check out. Great they they have 24/7 reception service which is amazing

The staff charged a hidden €18 ‘tourist tax’ that we haven’t paid anywhere else and wasn’t disclosed on booking.

There are 2 buildings, C punkt hostel 1 and C punkt hostel 2. And of course I arrived at the wrong building first. Also a bit strange that reception is 24 hours, but check in is only until 10. And all in all with this confusion with buildings, parking search, waiting receptionist and wrong room first check in took about an hour, too long.

I booked a room, and it was one of the cheapest options in Ljubljana. Room was clean, and everything was good. Also free parking on site is available, but find out how to get there in advance, there is a barrier and it is not so obvious.

The showers weren't great. There were 3 showers, but two were somewhat broken. 20 min away from bus station (may be a disadvantage but we didn't have any issues with distance)

Friendly staff. They let us keep our bags in the lobby. The room was spacious and the toilets were clean. Lots of sinks in the bathroom 10 min away from city center

IMO a bit overpriced, considering the fact that it is basically a student dorm with tiny rooms and a shared bathroom - there was one male toilet for the whole hall, so it was occupied annoyingly often. Also, the bathrooms and toilets for both ladies and gentlemen are all in one large room. Even though separated by a wall, it may cause a bit of discomfort.

Good location (close to the centre, yet in relatively calm neighbourhood), helpful staff, rooms were clean, well equipped shared kitchen, nice common room with couches and some games (chess, billiard)

Mostly young party kids when I stayed there. So late nights being woken up. Rude people in the hallways. Very LOUD echoes in hallways. And the BIGGEST PROBLEM, was finding the Building , NOTE::: there are 2 buildings and they are NOT next to each other… should be more signs to help people navigate all the clusters of buildings. After a very long journey that day of arrival was a pain. You are tired and sore and you just wanna get the pack off your backs. Just saying, once you come off main road.. there is no signs helping to get you to the bldg 1 OR bldg 2. Other than that.. good.

Location, Clean, quiet except for girls in hallways talking talking talking… in the middle of the NIGHT! (The hallways ECHOE very loudly)
