Just be prepared to go to the coffee shop next door to have your questions answered or to get what you need.

The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was enormous! Good storage space for travelers with larger suitcases. Located right on the river in the middle of town. Very good value. Great coffee at your doorstep! A walk to the bus station.

Some street noise, but it ended early enough and with windows closed securely, it was greatly diminished.

The room is slightly below street level and so quite dark. It wasn't a problem for us but you might not want to spend lots of time there.

The location is unbeatable if you want to be in the heart of Ljubljana. Everything was impeccably clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The area outside was a high-traffic area, a bit loud if the windows were open, but the windows seem to have been soundproofed, so when they were closed noise was not a problem at all. The only coffee in the kitchen was instant coffee—a nespresso machine would have been nice.

Not a problem but those booking a room at Cacao should be aware that it is not a full-service hotel, nor is it a bed and breakfast as there is no breakfast included. Still represents great value for the money.

Location, location, location! Doesn’t get any better than this if you want to be in the heart of Ljubljana’s beautiful centre. Very clean and very functional - had everything we needed and everything worked. Room was quite small and basic but come on - you’re in downtown Ljubljana!! Everything is literally footsteps outside the door of your room.

Room felt like a cave since it was partly undeground ,( had a window though on street level) staff not friendly and never looked like they cared ...shared .kitchenette in foyer didnt have basic utensils like, teaspoon, spoons, bowls...

Location 10/10!! Only 10m from 3 bridges, in heart of town. Beautiful bathroom.

Noise from passerby at night!

Room was so cozy, small but very clean and beautiful bathroom and handy in site kitchen with free coffee, you are literally right in the centre of all bars, Restaurants, markets and the river, you must try their ice cream cacao home made, yummy!

Booked the twin room for myself and my daughter Unbeatable location right next to the river and main square but so quite in the room. Lovely interior and spacious bathroom. The small kitchen area was very welcome, we used it a lot to store milk and make coffee. Lovely breakfast in the cafe.
