I felt very claustrophobic on the first night as the room is so small and with no windows. We ended up sleeping with the door propped slightly open so I could see some form of escape. I don't know how people slept in the single pods which were reminiscent of a coffin! We had problems with our lights which were light sensitive and kept coming on randomly when one of us moved! Very distracting and meant that I only really slept on the third night when I remembered my eye mask!

A quirky place which certainly leans into its dragon theme - very appropriate for Lubljana! We had a double pod with a high level bunk - the bed (once navigated) was very comfortable and had a handy built in shelf for chargers, lights, etc... The toilets/showers were incredibly clean and private, it was so good to have full rooms with toilet, basin and shower all within the unit. Shame the light kept going off every 2 minutes when in the shower! A wave of the arm outside the screen reactivated it! Incredibly quiet and secure everywhere so very good for solo travellers. This, coupled with no staff on hand, made it rather impersonal and depressing, especially as it's all underground.

Some minor issues: the kitchen annex is basic, it offers main dishes, but it is rather to heat the meal than to prepare something, the fridge might be a bit bigger.

The location of hostel is perfect. There is everything you need nearby (shops, pubs, restaurants - it's also nearby the LU that offers couple canteens during weekdays). The location is just by the busstop that takes you to the city center within 12 minutes and also close to the city bus station taking you to the Airport. The Hostel offers capsules that are more comfortable than expected - it's worth to take double capsule, they offers intimacy and comfort stay (air conditioning) :) All common spaces were clean and well balanced ("the number of bathrooms and working space in relation to number of guests"). The host is great person - helpful and interested in comfort stay of guests.

Maybe the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. I am recommending adding a mop or two in the bathroom so that you can clean / mop the place after (or before) use!

the capsule tends to get hot and the air quality is bad, bathrooms don't have soup and are kind of dirty, the chicken doesn't even have a stove, just microwave and smaaall fridge, not very social, no staff available, overall weird vibe, i would come back

Even in the double pod it still felt quite claustrophobic and there was no air flow so it was pretty hot - would not recommend staying here in summer! Also the 'kitchen' is just a microwave and a tiny fridge

I've been staying in bunk beds in dorm rooms for the past 6 weeks so it was really nice to have more privacy with the pod here. The bed was very comfy and everything felt nice and clean. Appreciated having the towel included as not often the case in hostels. Very easy to find just off the main street but still nice and quiet. Great bakery just across the road and supermarkets within 10 minutes walk.

The location isn’t great but the bus is directly I front and all of them go into the center of the city for a very cheap price. The front lounge area wasn’t the best, the couch sloped strangely as it was mimicking a dragon’s tail.

I liked the bus was directly in front of the hostel and the facility was exceptionally clean at all times. The receptionist called back immediately after missing my call and always prompt communication before I arrived. I also loved the aspect of privacy with my own little sleeping box.

When I came to my room, unfortunately, I saw that there was someone else staying in my room. The person who stayed there that morning came without a reservation. But they solved the problem in a short time, changed the sheets and gave me my room.

dragons dream hostel met my expectations. The employees were friendly. I did not hear any noise during the two nights of my stay. I think it is a very good feature that the entrance to the building and the room is via QR, you do not have to interact with anyone.

Not much of a dislike but there’s only a tiny mini fridge to store items and it’s pretty full most of the time. I also found the whole light system confusing (and never figured out what the temp control thing does) - would be nice if the person showed me how to work it cuz I only figured it out the next day. Make sure to ask. Also, there isn’t someone on-site all the time so get any questions figured out when you get there.

Lovely place just outside the city but walkable distance from centre. Rooms were comfy, lots of bathrooms with good showers. Guests were super nice and I met some cool ppl.

I arrived in Ljubljana at 08:00. It was very cold outside, but I could not get inside, not even to the lobby area to warm up. My request to be allowed inside to wait for the check-in time was refused. It was very frustrating and I had to stand in the cold.

"towels" are indicated in the services given by the hostel. The towels provided are small, like 30x50cm, and one per person as default. I think it is possible to request more if needed, anyway pack accordingly if you think it's not enough for your needs.
