the location is great. the private rooms are great value. i stayed in a 4 bunk room with private bathroom. it is not flashy but in a excellent location, friendly helpful staff, access to a lounge area with ping pong . I have relatives I could stay with but for the experience of staying in the heart of the city, this was a great choice

Some of the other guests were quite noisy when coming in at night. And some groups would hang around in the front lobby and talk before going out and when coming back. I found a sound machine app helped a lot. I didn’t mind that the room was small but there wasn’t much space to put anything. A small table was by the bed and a shelf in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker for me, I just had to get creative.

A great location in the middle of everything. A nice balcony to sit at even if there isn’t a view. Shower was good and hot water was never a problem.

My locker could not lock. But I have got another one. Mixed room (men and women mixed). One woman talked until late loudly with her smartphone. But this is not the fault of the hostel.

Enough space in the room. Lockers. Apparently freshly painted. I liked the orange wall combined with white sides and bed. It looked fresh and friendly. The room was clean and you get the bed covers. I liked also a lot the morning coffee/cappucino in the bar not far from the hostel and very good donuts and pistache croissants. Very very delicicious.

Not much of a common area

Great location by the river and the funnicular to the castle. Six blocks or so from train station in a straight line with one turn Decent room and bed with place to store your stuff

No kitchen this is not right. We backpackers need a kitchen to cook our food. Because of no kitchen, I spent 6 euros for my breakfast, 10 euros for my lunch and 15 euros for dinner vevery day. For those on a budget si not book this place.

One thing that really annoyed me was the cold at night. The side doors were open and I was sleeping near one of them, I tried to close it with no success, I think it was open by the workers there. I died of cold at night, I was lucky because even though it was September I travelled with my winter jacket so I wore it at night, I covered my legs with a towel, it was really bad for me. I don't know maybe others were good but I suffered a lot. I waited a bit for the bathroom to be freed since there were two bathrooms for all of the underground (if I saw well) which is like 16 beds minimum and each of the two rooms had one bathroom together with the toilet. Another thing is there is no internet if you are in your bed, you have to leave the room and go in front if you wanna use internet.

So I came all by myself, I had a heavy suitcase and luckily the hostel is very close to the train and main bus station. I cannot imagine dragging my suitcase if the hostel was far. So that really one thing I was happy about. Close to the center, to the churches, to the food places, just close to everything, really good in what concerns the location. Even though it's located in the city center, the place is quiet, it is soundproofed. Noise can come from others who are staying in the hostel when they are answering to their calls. It was clean. Plus they accepted to keep my suitcase the next day before I left Slovenia, I was very happy about it because I did not expect it. You have space to sit, there are games, it is not a small place. The receptionist was welcoming.

The overall experience was pretty good, but it’d be nice if they had curtains in the bunk beds so that the guests have some privacy.

It had no breakfast but the coffe shop near it is really good. The bathroom was a mess because the curtain was too small. The room was ok but somwone was washing clothes on a washing machine just outside our windows at 1 am. That is not acceptable. The light from outside turned on everytme some guest walked in on the hostel .

Location was really good, we stayed 2 nights despite the price was a bit too much. The bed and the room were really big.

There's no kitchen and no one working after 10pm so in two nigths a strange guy (who was not staying at the hostel) entered and looked for a bed to sleep.

Wifi is really weak that you can’t almost reach the internet from your room if your room is at down stairs. The cleaning stuff drives you out of the room when he starts to clean the room despite not checking out day. It never happened in any hostel usually.
