Poor bell guys, they're supposed to both work as waiters in the restaurant and as receptionists making them run up and down and you wait unusefully. Hire a receptionist instead

The gym was very nice with plenty of machines and weights. Breakfast had a lot of choice but mainly on the meat side.

Wifi signal was not really the best - it worked but I experienced hiccups constantly. Parking lot lacks a little "cohesion" because the spots are kind of spread all around the hotel and shared with nearby buildings. There is another parking lot across the street from the hotel but crossing the street is not the most convenient so beware.

A very nice stay at this, rather secluded, place. While the hotel and the rooms are somewhat oldish and could use a makeover, it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very cordial and helpful, no complaints there. I tried the restaurant, ordered the simplest pizza Margarita and was amazed by the quality of it, they sure can bake a good pizza. Fitness centre was also large and fine enough, no issues at all. There is an EV charger available which is working but I arrived and left pretty "full" so did not need to charge. Breakfast was - for my taste - absolutely delicious and sufficient for all tastes and ages.

I can’t think of anything that o didn’t like.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was lovely and the breakfast was a great choice and service was excellent.

Be sure to bring earplugs because the church bell can be loud. You can also hear people talking in the rooms nearby, as well as the bowling alley (even on the second floor). The sauna was closed and we never managed to play bowling due to limited / uncertain opening hours.

The hotel is strategically located, many sights can be reached within 30-60 minutes by car. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was varied, continental, with gluten-free options.

Electric cattle and instant coffee in the room would have been awesome, but the value/price ratio was still perfect.

The room was cosy, spacious with a nice overview on the hills. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and with a wide choice. The staff was polite and helpful. The location is optimal to have star-trips to Bled, Vintgar, Postojna cave and to Trieste.

The staff in this place just don't seem interested in serving any clients. When I arrived I had to search to find a person for the check-in. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy but still I had to to searching for someone to take my order. In the morning I was in a hurry to check out, but despite my ringing the bell, nobody would turn up at reception. When I returned home there was a problem with the bill so I had to contact them (via booking.com). They first gave me a wrong e-mail address to send my message and when I tried to phone them nobody bothered to pick up the phone. It's not even that they seem short-handed because there's a lot of business, it just feels like nobody is working there.

The food at the restaurant was excellent and good value for money. The room had a beautiful view and was nice and quiet. Everything was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable.
