Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe hot water ran out quickly, and the breakfast option, while there, it was very limited and it seemed like a bother to the restaurant staff.
Perfect location for a quick trip to Ljubljana, near everything you want to see in old town in a very nice area. All the rooms are on the garden/basement level with neat cove ceilings which adds to the decor. Clean with a comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom.

FinlandThe breakfast service was slow. The rooms are located in the basement for which reason the air humidity was high (there was a dehumidifier but we didn't want to keep it humming while sleeping). The water boiler in the bathroom kept strange noise while heating the water. The hotel didn't offer the best value for our money.
The location is excellent near the city center, and the appearance of the hotel room was modern and attractive. The personal was helpful. The breakfast was tasty (but only limited selection).

Welcoming hosts, I had birthday and when the receptionist figured this out, she ran away and came back with a bottle of red wine. Lovely. Also the breakfast was really spot on.

DenmarkI agree with many of the other reviews that the rooms being in the basement isn't necessarily an issue due to their brightness. However, there is poor air circulation and an unpleasant odor. Despite having a door to an underground terrace, it was challenging to introduce fresh air into the room. For those traveling for business, it may be somewhat inconvenient that breakfast doesn't commence until 7:30, and the service is à la carte, which can result in a longer wait for your meal.
The staff was helpful, the location was good, and the rooms were newly renovated.

GreeceThe apartments are four and they are all in the basement. We thought it was ok when we booked. But humidity is terrible, so is the smell. The machine for humidity is not enough. Furthermore everyone walking outside seems to be in the apartment. Parking is a problem. If you find one outside it is only for two hours, 1,30 per hour. Then you have to take it and move to another place. From 19:00 to 07:00 it is free. Download the application. The parking of the hotel is only two spots at a nearby garage for 20 euro 24 hours.
The apartments are brand new welll decorated. In the centre of Ljubljana. Perfect spot opposite the opera. Breakfast is a la carte. You choose from a menu eggs in different versions, or yoghurt with superfood or jam, honey etc.
