Beautiful location and excellent hospitality! We really rested and enjoyed our time. Highly recommended for families with young children and generally for anyone who appreciates nature and wants a quiet holiday. Also, if you enjoy pizza and are willing to taste Slovenian traditional dishes, you may easily rely on the House's restaurant for all meals. It is noted that the breakfast included some amazing domestic products such as yogurt or strawberry marmalade. We would like to visit again!

Our 2nd stay at this outstanding place, & again it did not disappoint. Super warm winter accommodation, clean room, comfortable beds, great large digital tv, great breakfast, very friendly owner & an absolutely breath taking location with views to die for. We most certainly will return to this tranquil & traditional gem.

Everything was fine! The rooms are not equipped with an air condition to cope with a heat wave, but being up on the Slovenian mountains, that would be the least expected available service either way. They’re not to be blamed .. :)

The view is beautiful, staff is very kind. Pizza is great (suggestion for host: english menu card). Breakfast was good from local foods, should be try the marmalade! For childrens it has playground and springboard. Kids love the animals (dog, cats, pigs, horses, goats, sheep). The bathroom and toilet is shared (apart for woman and man) but it is not a problem because have only few rooms. Charming rooms with lot of wood.

The breakfast menu could have been better

Beautiful location and very hospitable staff. Dushan who runs the place checked on us when we arrived in Slovenia as it was the day of rain and flooding. He also cooked a warm meal for us when nothing was available. Gave us lot of ideas on where to go and places to see

Take into account that you have a shared bathroom and toilet. Those were clean!

Very nice room close by Ljubljana. It has a beautiful view where you can see mountains from far from all countrysides. Very good breakfast and the host is the best.

Just the bathroom is shared, but even though it was very clean.

I liked the nature around, the kids loved th playground, the animals, including the dog, it's very calm. The bed is very comfy, i loved the style of the hotel. And the staff is kind.

You need to have your own towels. Bathroom is shared - but its known from the start so its up to you.

View is really nice. Quiet place. Room is like on the photos. Facilities around the building are good especially if you come with the kids. Brekfast was ok. You can use also restaurant (not all days of the week).

The accommodation is basic but it is to be expected from the type of the accommodation. They do not take cards as one of the few places in Slovenia, be prepared with cash.

This place was an amazing stay for our last day in Slovenia. We chose it mostly because of the reviews of the views and they did not disappoint. If nothing else, come to this mountain hut for the 360 views of the mountains, to watch the sunset over Triglav and to enjoy the time in the meadows we can no longer find in our home country.

There were only two bathrooms in the floor. One for women and one for men. For 3 rooms that can have 3 to 4 guests each is too little. We were often in queue. For emergency, there was a toilet downstairs. But I found the bathroom situation a bit uncomfortable.

Surrounded by nature, animals and quietness. Kids enjoyed a lot all the playgrounds and the animals. The owner was super available for everything.

The location was stunning! Above the capital Ljubljana, with a feeric night-view over the city and still having the perfect silence of the nature. In the morning the breakfast was rich and tasty, the sunrise spectacular, fresh air, birds singing... in the middle of nature.

We visited this place with the assumption that it would be our base to explore Slovenia. The place is located near the capital Ljubljana (about 15 km) on picturesque hills, from which there is a wonderful view all around. At night, the panorama of Ljubljana looks beautiful, and with good visibility you can see Triglav (the highest peak in Slovenia). Nice, clean room with a beautiful panorama of Ljubljana. From the windows you can see a meadow where horses graze. The room has a TV, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Shared bathrooms 2 out of 3 rooms, Accessibility is not a problem, both are impeccably clean. Breakfast very good, consisting of local products. There is also a kitchen on site, where you can order pizza, beer, local wine and liqueurs. More dishes available on weekends. The owner is very nice and competent. It tells you what to see in Slovenia and Ljubljana, tells the history of this place. You can easily communicate in English and German. Next to the building, there is an off-road gym, a large square, tables and benches. The attractions for children are goats, lambs, Vietnamese pigs, horses and rabbits :) All animals live there happy. We recommend this place to those who want to enjoy the silence, watch beautiful views and look at the capital of Slovenia from above :) We will definitely come back there!
