How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very well equipped the only thing I could say is a microwave would be helpful to warm up your food quicker, but other than that everything was great.
Really nice refurbished little apartments. Easy, quick communication with the owner everyone speaks english and they’re very helpful. The apartment is very well equipped and the sauna gives a good relax moment after skiing. Free parking in front of the house also the garage can be used to store your equipments. A small store is just a minute away by walk. The village itself is beautiful can do a nice walk around but if you wish to look around in the area you might need a car. Overall we spend a great time there.

Everything was great, there is nothing we would change.
Everything was perfect! The studio is cosy and really nicely decorated with everything needed. Hosts were great and helped us with all the requests. The sauna is a huge plus!

Our stay at Asja and Drazen's place was an absolute dream! Nestled in an awesome location, we couldn't have asked for a better setting for our getaway. Right from the beginning, we were welcomed by the warmth of our friendly hosts, Asja and Drazen, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The clean apartment provided us with a cozy and comfortable retreat, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy every moment of our stay. What truly touched us was the lovely surprise of a welcoming gift that awaited us upon our arrival. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel like we were staying with dear friends. The convenience of being just a 5-minute ride away from the lake was a true luxury. For those who crave a bit more adventure, a leisurely 15-minute bike ride led to the lake, offering breathtaking scenery along the way. While Asja and Drazen generously offered us the use of their bikes, we opted for a car ride, but the gesture did not go unnoticed.

Great place close to Bohinj lake 👌 A nicely decorated apartment with two bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. We could use SUP for free! which was a great fun for our daughters😃

Lovely place in a great location for Bohinj and Bled. Really clean, tidy and well-equipped. We had a fantastic stay and Asja was incredibly responsive and helpful - thank you!

Absolutely nothing.
This appartement was really perfect! So clean and has everything you need. Big plus was that there was a welcome basket waiting for us upon arrival. So thoughtful! The owners are so kind and helped us with restaurant recommendations and helped us with our car problems. Would definitely stay here again in the future 😊

This is really perfect place to visit Slovenia and the Bohnij region. Very good contact with the apartment's owner who was very supportive. The apartment is amazing - very comfortable, clean and fully equipped. 10/10. I'll be back there for sure.

Everything was really great !
The apartment has really good energy and is very cozy. It is also very clean and very specious. It has also all needed equipment, so you can really feel like at home. The owner is super helpful and friendly - which makes your stay even better :)

The location is perfect, there is a very nice restaurant and also a market. The apartment was remarkably clean, had great facilities and very nice touches. We will definitely come back and I would absolutely recommend this place. Asja was such a kind host she always made sure that we had everything we need and more:) So dear guests stop scrolling and book this apartment for your stay if you are looking for the perfect home for your holiday.
