Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA great opportunity to spend a couple of nights in this former Monastery. - such a peaceful location - I had the best night's sleep ever. Around 15 minutes walk from the centre of Kamnik, which is a charming little.town about an hour from Ljubljana. Helpful staff (I even got a pickup from the bus station, since I was running slightly late). Fabulous Balkan restaurant near bus station. - the best salads ever, that I felt they were definitely worthy of a mention!

Czech RepublicThe only discomfort for people who are not as healthy could be the three flights of stairs which you need to climb to to the attic floor with the guest rooms. We did not mind that challenge :-)
The monastery is an exceptional experience to stay in. Its history goes back more than 700 years. The rooms are smaller, but brand new and modern, and the silence is interrupted only by the bells of the bell tower (not too loud) which is something that gives the traveller a very real feeling of what it was like when the nuns were still there. There is also a small kitchenette to be used by the guests. Parking is outside of the monastery right in front of the entrance.

United StatesThe communal bathroom was a little uncomfortable for us. Also, climbing 2 to 3 marble staircases might be difficult for some people, particularly when carrying luggage.
Beautiful historical building surrounded by incredible mountains and delightful villages. The room was comfortable and had radiator heating controlled in the room. The breakfast was rather expensive but very nicely prepared and individually cooked eggs were offered by the hostess.

FranceSeveral items were not appreciated: - When we arrived, noboby was there to welcome us. We had to search the entry (which was closed), to phone and to wait 30 minutes before someone come to us. The guy didn't speak a single English word so we didn't have all the information we needed at that time. - Next, no hot water in the shower next to our bedroom that is not acceptable. - Kitchen not cleaned and not enough equipment to cook.
By the way, the room was confortable, location is good next to the moutains. Good before a hard hiking day
