It was not a problem for us but please be aware that the rooms are upstairs with no elevator.

The location is simply perfect at the downtown. Room is spacious and clean. Although the apartment is above a restaurant/bar, you cannot hear anything. A big plus that we could bring our dog as well. Parking was also OK, behind the building there is a private courtyard - the staff helps to open it. If you need your car, you have to ask the staff to get access. Anywhere else on the streets parking shall be paid, so the private parking space of the apartment is very good. Kremnica is a lovely town!

unfortunately, there are also couple negatives (maybe as a consequence of the covid "fatigue" & the fact that this accommodation remains the same for several years now?): - rooms furniture is slowly becoming deteriorated, for instance the floors would need an upgrade, windows are also not in the best shape. But still, everything is usable, clean and well maintained. - smoke smell from the smokers area in the restaurant is everywhere. Please consider the ban of the smoking in the whole restaurant, many people will appreciate that. For me personally this was not a major issue. - Heating in early March was working under very strange conditions - the heaters were more cold than hot. Fortunately, there was an aircondition unit that could heat the rooms instead of the heaters. - It is becoming more and more pricey. But this is the problem of the whole country, not only here in this specific accommodation.

there are many positive things, far more than the negative ones: - nice & spacious rooms with amenities that are no longer found in far more expensive hotels (toothbrush, shaving kit, slippers,...) - good selection of breakfast from the menu. not a typical "buffet" breakfast, but still very tasty and freshly prepared from the kitchen. - hospitable staff - location directly in front of the historical gates with everything nearby available by walking distance (historical center, Tesco, ...) - free parking - good restaurant right under the rooms

The apartments are located above a pub where smoking is allowed. While this did not cause any real discomfort, it is worth noting - especially for people travelling with small children.

This was a(n almost) perfect stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the B&B is located right in the heart of the old town, breakfast was tasty. Parking was in a closed courtyard, which is perfect if Kremnica is a 1 night stop en route.

The room is great for family on top of a restaurant in the center. Breakfast was from a selection of 5 dishes (juice, coffee, tea). We got dinner as well (paid). Room was very clean (towels, toothbrushes, slippers). Food was excellent. Owner super nice and helpful. Really recommend this place. 10 minute drive to ferrata Skalka.

Might be good to inform about how to access to the parking place, which for us was bit complicated. This small comment does not change overall very good evaluation of the stay.

Very good location, just in middle of Kremnica, so walking distance to old town, cafe's and museum. Restaurant in the same building, and other nearby. The room very nice, comfortable, bathroom spacy and really well equipped, what is specially appreciated for the short-term stay. Breakfast in the morning served in restaurant.

Restaurant by the apartments (below) is closed suprissingly early, still there are many other nearby.

Great host, handling with smile so many parallel things it is hard to believe one person can do. Nice choice of breakfasts "a'la card". Very comfortable and spacey room and bathroom. Apartments are new, clean and with everything you may need. Clean bathroom, clean room and nice, modern finishing. There are 4-5 apartments in total so the place is very cozy.

We mostly spend time around Kremnica in the wintertime. Cross-country skiing in Skalka is the best in the area but unfortunately there aren't many accomodation options up on the mountain especially when one member of the family is a dog. So we often book accomodations in Kremnica and to be honest so far this was our favourite. The positive side of sleeping in Kremnica and not on the mountain is that the city is beautiful, and there are great restaurants available.

Very helpful, cheerful and friendly staff:) Private and safe parking, baby crib on demand, spacious apartment nicely decorated and very well-equipped (slippers, towels, mini fridge, even toothbrushes - packed and sterile). If you plan to visit Kremnica, this gem is definitely worth it!

There was no electric kettle in our room.
