How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There is nothing, indeed
Perfect location - in the heart of the city! At the same time silence around the appartment area. The apartament and building both are very clean, fresh and comfortable. All you need for the stay is available. Nice dining room and balcony. Bed is comfortable. Hosts are supportive and react immediately to any inquiry. We arrived earlier than the official check in and asked to let put the suitcases in the appartment before check in - our inquiry was satisfied very friendly. All was perfect!

The apartment is in a new building, well eqiuped with everything we needed during our stay. It is in the walking distance to the old city center and other attractions. Parking is available in front of the building. We really enjoyed.

The property is a bit of a hike from the train station and about a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of downtown. Neither one of those are bad at all, but just something to keep in mind when it's pouring rain or flurrying snow!
What a charming spot! Lots of space to relax, in-unit laundry, a comfy bath, and Netflix on the TV for post-adventure winding down. And they offered a bottle of wine as a housewarming gift. I only wish it was warmer so I could enjoy the patio outside for longer than a minute!

Very nice apartment! Spacious, with great view to two gardens. Very close to the all needed places: supermarket, bus station, downtown and old city. There is all needed in the apartment: kitchen and bathroom equipment, towels, tea and coffee, central heating, air conditioning. Very cosy and calm place with easy-to-get keys. The house is new, all is tidy and clean, and the communication with apartment host is super-fast. I will come back for sure ❤️

The apartment is modern, beautiful, clean... Easy to find and easy check in. Bedroom have a lot room for storage, and living room is spacious, with a table comfortable for online work who needs it :) It was very pleasant stay and will definitely come again.

The sheets of the double bed were a bit too small/narrow. (But we've already informed the owner, so I guess that will be 'fixed' in the meantime.)
The location was very central (walking distance to both the city center and Nivy bus station) and yet very quiet at night. We loved the decoration of the apartment, the natural daylight (many windows) and the electrical blinds to keep the sun (and the heat) out, the air-conditioning was working really well (it was 38 degrees when we visited, so we needed it!). Both the apartment and the building were new and super clean. We received very clear instructions on how to pick-up the keys upon arrival and how to enter the apartment. We highly recommend this place.

We had some trouble with balcony doors - you need to figure out (practice) how to smoothly close / open them. Light switches were in inconveniently located, but that's actually nothing.
Everything was great. Comfortable beds. Loved and fully enjoyed balcony.

The place was great, clean and had everything one might need. It was located in the city center in a really quiet building. Although i never saw the owners, they were reachable at any hour and gave detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment.
