Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A fantastic, relaxing and quiet stay at Gino Park while visiting family in Povazska Bystrica of my Slovak wife. Room was comfy and big. Breakfast was great with a variety of choices!

AustriaWe were a little bit disappointed by the food: The barbecue (only saturday) is quite expensive considering what is offered. Especially the breakfast (in the cellar for some reason) was meager for a 4-star-hotel.
Very beautiful room, hotel and surroundings. The staff was helpful, nice and polite, the spa is small, but enjoyable.

AustraliaIt is a fair distance from the town centre and the surrounding area is not overly attractive and without shops or restaurants, so it is a bit of an island in effect. I could be wrong, but didn’t see any air conditioning, not that it was needed when were there
As the name says, it is a repurposed palace. This gives the rooms a scale and grandeur. It also has a beautiful chapel. It is set in midst of the old estate so is surrounded by acres of gardens and paths and is on a hill overlooking the city and surrounding mountains. The restaurant was good. We didn’t visit the spa.

SlovakiaI would have rated the hotel excellent, however only negative was the uncomfortable pillows. They were very small and pretty hard - though this may be individual preference. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable.
Breakfast was amazing - exceeded our expectations. Also really enjoyed the massage (masseuse was excellent and extra bonus very pleasant). Wellness was also enjoyable.

Czech RepublicOur room had several issues with quality (e.g. non-working tv, non working toilet flushing button, dirty cups, no cups for drinking tap water, one liquid (without any sign on it) to be used as shampoo and shower gel, no body lotion etc.). Breakfast was really a disaster. Such a steal for 15 EUR per persona. Plus, the breakfast is not accessible by disabled or strollers (only stairs, no lift). Clear and honest feedback was given to reception where it seemed rather unaccepted because there was a reason for everything.
The common areas are like in a museum. Amazing. The dinner we had was great, staff was amazing. Also the surrounding garden is wonderful.
