How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Opening window in the sitting room, but not possible in the bedroom. Preferable but did not effect our excelent impression of the apartment. Would return.
Clean, well equiped, and very secure. ( Needed pass key to move around building, lift etc. ) Local shop opposite, very convenient car park beneath building. Very helpful staff on reception 24 hrs.

Some rooms could not open window for fresh air ventilation.
Very helpful staff. Well equipped. Quiet room overlooking garden, avoid noisy street rooms. Bicycle storage. Good value.

The bathroom ventilator didn't work.
The hotel is very near the Presidential Palace and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the main square. The apartment is new, comfortable, warm and well equipped. The staff is kind and helpful.

Nice hotel apartment in very central location. Enjoyed our time very much. Room was large, clean, modern with a small kitchen and nice large and clean bathroom. Would stay here again for sure!

If you take bolt, make sure the driver drops you off at the front door, not in the back at staff / garage entry, it's quite a walk to the reception. But it's not a hosts problem, just mentioning it as a possibly useful information for others.
I loved my stay here and I would return any time it was possible. Very modern, spacious and clean. Definitely suitable even for a longer stay or a family stay. Feels like at home. Excellent location with a great artisan bakery a few doors from the apartment house. A busy shopping / restaurant street is just a block of houses away, and the city center, as well as the train station is within walking distance. Plenty of public transport options.

The apartment was very clean and the cleaning ladies were changing our kitchen and toilet bins every day. We felt save since you couldn't use the elevator and go to your floor without your key card. Also you had to use the key card to open the floor's main door leading to the apartments. The location of the apartment was perfect, close to the center. A supermarket is found 200m in the opposite street and a bakery 50m from the main entrance. If I visit Bratislava again, I will definitely stay here again.

everything was fine.
Nice, roomy apartment suitable for a family of four (2 kids included), clean, well equipped, good internet conection. Very helpfull and nice staff. perfect location - close to city center. Good parking. Next time in Bratislava we'd like again to stay there.

No restaurant nor breakfast room in hotel (You will get a box to Your room as a breakfast). Room was not cleaned by vacuum cleaner every day (but it should be due to having breakfast there every day). Beds are very soft and little bit noisy.
Excelent location in city center (all main sightseeings are so close). Car parking in the same building (the same elevator). Clean, quiet and well equipped room.

Actually nothing. Maybe, that there is no restaurant in the building, but there were many restaurants close by.
Size and equipment of the appartment was very good. Rezeption, so the access was very easy. As well possibility of parking. Nice location

Gasoline smell by opening the window and non working air condition

We liked everything. The apartment was big enough, with all appliances and amenities. It was quiet although we were in the city center. The breakfast was fine, as well! I would recommend for everyone's stay in Bratislava!
