There are no privacy curtains for the bed. The female shower room on 3rd floor has a funky smell. Shower on the 3rd floor takes a long time to get hot, so wastes a lot of water unless you are willing to do a cold shower or go right after someone who has just taken a shower.

Location is next to old town. Lockers are big and come with a key. The staff deals with inappropriate people right away. Large kitchen downstairs with tiny kitchens on each floor. Free laundry, hang out room with bar (but downstairs away from rooms so minimal noise), activities to meet guests in evenings.

The room is VERY small, beds are very close together compared to similar hostels I've stayed at. It feels like you're on top of the other guests. Even at midnight - 1 AM it was very loud outside the door as well, and this was a Monday night. Although the bed is very clean and the lockers can fit a big backpack, the showers were a bit dirty/not as clean as I normally expect hostels to be.

Free laundry was the absolute best part: free washers, free dryers, and tons of space to hang your clothes. Also towels are provided, which is very nice! An absolute lifesaver on a longer Central Europe trip. Staff was very kind, free drink included, kitchen available for use. The location is good and only a short 15 or so minute walk to the main Old Town and Bratislava castle. Supermarket nearby (2-3 minute walk), area felt safe at night.

I really liked the location as it was within walking distance of interesting spots of the city. Plus the free drink is a good idea 😉. Highly recommended

I made a mistake booking for two bed spaces. I begged the receptionist to help cancel one of the bed spaces and they refused. Lost €25 despite pleading with them. Also, it doesn’t come with breakfast. Terrible hostel, doesn’t worth it.

Unlucky to have a roommate snoring through the whole night. It's nothing to do with the hostel.

Almost everything a backpacker needs. More than expectations. Highly recommend.

Just a suggestion - Info on the free tours given to us should be verified since we spent an hour and half looking for the meeting point and waiting only to realise that there were no one there (probably free tours that weekend were cancelled due to the culture and heritage weekend at Bratislava ). But I would happily stay at Patio Dorms if and when I visit again

We were 2 ladies traveling to Bratislava. I received clear directions to the hostel for all modes of transport quite well in advance which made it easy to find the place. Victor at the front desk with his broad smile made us feel so welcome. The hostel was clean and each floor had an accessible kitchen with a larger kitchen on the ground floor. Beds were comfy, location was excellent n people were friendly. Made our trip so very worthwhile

The kitchen of the hostel is really well-equipped, which made our stay much more comfortable. The bar was so nice; good prices. Also, there is a room for you to chill out (living room): so cool! The location of the hostel is so convenient.

Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hostel. Clean room and bathrooms. Evening event in bar was perfect escelially if you are solo traveller and you would like to meet new people. Common kitchen with coffe and all facilities to cook was also great.

They find excuse don't give my deposit back, this hostel ask deposit when check in. They need yourself to set the bed sheet and bed cover and pillow, and need do bed sheet when you check out.the room are very small. no living room, just a small kitchen, and no space for cook, only 1 induction cooker there.

Amazing staff at the reception and in the bar. Really close to city center. Cute small garden in the back. Cool bar downstairs. Will definitely coma back. Highly recommend 🤗
