In rooms on the ground floor you can hear people on stariwell and overall you could hear other guests (not the worst but annoying at times).

Very clean, comfortable bed and cozy common room with Bar. You can get nice snacks (sandwiches, sausage and more) and drinks. Staff was polite and friendly.

Everything was perfect! The room was very clean, the facilities feels modern and new. Door key is attached with aquapark club card, which grants a discount.

Darinka is located in the residential area and rather on the outskirts of it so for shopping, selection of restaurants etc. you either have to drive or you should be prepared for some longer walk. Parking is 'tight' ;-)

Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. Good wifi quality. There is a bar and relax area in the main facility where you can enjoy wine and snacks - we were happy to spend time there in the evening as we arrived on a very rainy day and it was a great alternative for driving to some restaurant downtown. Guests get a discount card for Aquacity Poprad but if you want to go there, remember to check the opening times as the pools get closed quite early.

We checked in on Friday evening and it was quite cold in the room as obviously no one was in our separately standing building and nights are cold etc. It got better next day when we had a lot of neighbors, probably building became naturally warmer. Anyway, this is nothing comparing to the whole impression.

The room was exactly the same as described and as on photos; it has very pleasant design and all furniture looks new. We liked the table with chairs outside just near the window (we were on the ground floor, the floor above has balcony, so it is quite the same). We met their very pleasant woman as a host who met us and was helping with breakfast next day, unfortunately, I’ve never asked the name. The communication was very nice and friendly, it was easy to understand each other with Ukrainian on our side and Slovak on her :) She also advised some places to visit. breakfast is good, it is served as buffet. If you are not taking it, try to take anything else in the place where it is served - it has good atmosphere, we could not leave it for a while :)

One flight of stairs up to the rooms, but not too bad.

Lovely host, restaurant and breakfast were very nice. We didn't see any other guests, so felt we were very well looked after. Rooms were comfortable, even with 3 in the room. Showers and beds were comfortable.

It has a lot of variety at breakfast and tea to drink but as a suggestion we would have liked to option lactose-free milk or almond milk because my boyfriend is allergic.It wasn't a problem anyway.

Penzion Darinka was excellent choice of accommodation. The place was lovely and stylish. Staff was welcoming, always friendly and helpful. The room and its facilities were comfortable and very clean. Connection to the town, train station and local attractions was easy using local taxi services for affordable price. I would be happy to return and will definitely recommend it to others as well.

My husband and I are Dutch, and we chose Penzion Darinka because of the excellent reviews on booking.com. Those high reviews were not a lie. We also can highly recommend this pension. We stayed at Penzion Darinka from 6 to 9 September 2022. The host, Lenka, makes you feel at home and is very supportive in making your vacation the most extraordinary experience. She not only gave us the best hiking tips, but we could also visit excellent restaurants in the neighborhood because of her feedback. The food at her place is fantastic as well. Everything in our room was high-quality, from the bed to the bathroom. The detailed design shows she has an eye for perfection and that design can be seen in the entire restaurant.
