Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThere was nothing we did not like, but if the hotel would like to have advice I would say that a ceiling fan in the rooms would be nice. It was quite warm when we were there at night. It was also a matter of getting used to it and to keep windows and curtains closed during the day. That helped a lot. We hung ‘do not disturb’ on our door so that the curtains would stay closed.
The rooms were very clean and modern. Everything worked well and the rooms were prepared properly. Yes, the building looks a bit like a hospital or office, but we were only there to sleep, not to be entertained by the looks of a hotel. The reception staff was friendly and professional and could answer all our questions. They spoke good English. The breakfast was good and the man who we saw during our stay made sure we had everything. The parking was very good organised and safe. It was nice to have a morning walk to see the area which gives you a good view of the differences in Bratislava. There is good public transport from the hotel to the old town, but make sure you catch the bus were there is a machine to buy tickets. We caught the bus on the main road, close to the supermarket Lidl.

Estonia- The bed squeaking, strongly - Very loud and unrespectful visitors, banging with the doors and loudly speaking outside at nighttime, aswell a visitor next to our room smoked on the window, so the smoke came straight to our room. - breakfast, very poor choices, not worth the money. Coffee wasn’t good at all.
As traveling with a baby I liked that the Hotel had an elevator and the room was big enough for the walking around with the pop-up baby bed in the room.

fantastic breakfast (included); nice lounge downstairs where you can order a drink; minibar in room and a comfortable sofa to sit on; birdsong outdoors; a nice little supermarket just beyond the park and a big shopping centre and Lidl supermarket just up the main road round the corner; nice neighbourhood; frequent buses to the city.

I lost my parking token and the Receptionist did not want to let me out and claimed that the silly token is 30€ which I need to reimburse. it was not indicated anywhere up front but this is comparable to the price of the hotel room. Not sure if I am staying there ever again.

United KingdomThis hotel, like other European hotels as well, doesn't provide basic necessities like toothpaste. We were flying to Bratislava in late hours and hoped basic things like toothpaste will be at least available in the hotel, but no.
The reception was available even when we arrived late to the hotel, at midnight. Because the reception was available 24/7.
