Too soft pillows

Everything was as described and expected. The breakfast was good and you could choose a lot of different food. Personaly it was a little bit too much english inspired food, but that's obviously the way most people want their breakfast. The parking spot directly in the hotel is great. And the location of the hotel right in the center of Bratislava is awesome. You don't need a car and you can make site seeing only by foot. The castle is impressive. You should visit the UFO and you should give a boat tour on the river a try. Bratislava and the Hotel Tatra is for sure a destination to come back. Awesome!

Not a complaint, but it would be good to have milk in the room for tea, also there could have been a proper toaster at breakfast rather than the heater provided and the bar was limited and closed a little early.

Room and bed were clean and comfortable, low cost mini bar was a bonus, the shower was good and a kettle and tea and coffer had been provided. A good breakfast was included with a large choice that would challenge anyone to complain. Staff were helpful and generally efficient. The hotel is ideal for exploring the old town.

Then again, this hotel is supposed to be 4 stars hotel, if a couple books a room, put them in a queen bed at least, two single beds it’s not comfortable if you don’t buy the proper accesories for the customer not to feel the gap. Besides that, there were two many people with different information, the lady that did the check in made the mistake of charging us for one day parking when we clearly told her 2, we had to go back and pay again because we went out in the car that day. The other thing that happened is that the other guy in the reception told us breakfast started at 6:30 in the morning, surprise was next day we woke up at 6:30, went down and realized that it wasn’t. The bartender in the bar before the breakfast room seemed drunk and he told us in a really unpleasent way that how come we were there if the breakfast started at 7 am because it was bank holiday… besides there was a customer left smoking inside. Besides all of this you really need to work on the interior design of the hotel.

We liked that the room was big, location and the fact that they have the option to pay for the parking.

The shower head was not that great and the rooms are really warm so you need sleep with the door open. Also there are no sockets near the bed.

The location was great and the breakfast was good and varied. The staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Definitely value for money.

The pillows were in poor shape and there no extra pillows. We folded our jackets and used them underneath the pillows for head support. The temperature everywhere in the hotel was boiling hot and no way to turn it down, so we slept with the window open in February. Definitely impacted our otherwise perfect stay. Other than that, everything was great!

The hotel is rather old and the furniture needs to be renewed.

Breakfast was excellent! The room was quite big but way too hot. The location was perfect, walking distance to the train station and from the city center.

It would have been nice to have a little bit more storage space at the bathroom sink.

The hotel and room were very clean. The bed was comfortable. The private bathroom had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The WiFi was easy to connect with and was very fast. The included breakfast was phenomenal and offered a plethora of choices within the buffet. The hotel was just a few minutes walk from the main train station and the old city center.

Felt it wasn't quite a 4 star hotel and slightly over priced. Room was clean but basic, you couldn't adjust the shower head to wash your hair and had to ask for an extra pillow as only giving one.

Very helpful staff, good location for exploring the main sites of Bratislava and good access to the train station via a short tram journey. Excellent selection of food at breakfast.
