Vila Kamila is a real gem hidden just 10 minutes by car from Strbske pleso. This place is perfect spot for short and long stays as it's location is perfect for hiking and short walks in the amazing nature that High Tatras offer. The property itself is simple yet excellent combination of home like feel place where you have all you need for comfortable stay. Room was warn, neat, clean with amazingly comfortable bed and all needed amenities (TV, fridge, glasses, table, storage shell, etc.). Also the quiet nature of the neighborhood makes sleep here a pleasant experience. Common areas are also equipped with all need amenities where if by any miracle you will miss something, the always available and super nice hosts are at your service. Happy to help, advice, explain all the information to make sure that you stay is as pleasant as humanly possible. And now few words about the crown jewel of Vila Kamila - Breakfast. We have selected this place based on recommendation and already amazing reviews about the offered breakfast. But I have to say breakfast experience exceeded our expectations. Breakfast is not just rich in options, it is delicious thanks to fresh produce and fact that it is home made. The dining room was furnished in beautiful folk style and We felt there like in a five star restaurant. I highly recommend Vila Kamila for anybody who would be traveling around it is an amazing place where we will return soon.

The room was very clean and well equipped. We could use the microvave and kettle in the common area. Owners of the apartament are extremly nice and helpful. It's located close to train station. We enjoyed to stay in this place with our baby and dog.

Even though we only stayed one night, for us it was great! The place has a very cozy feel to it and is in a nice quiet area. I recommend it! The host is kind and very welcoming, he waited for us to check-in late, around midnight. We had access to the fridge in the public space and got free coffee early in the morning. The room and the bathroom were very clean, even the air in the room smelled fresh. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come back for hiking in the Tatra mountains.

Vila Kamila is a nice little hotel in an excellent location, literally a few minutes by rack railway to the centre of the High Tatras. We enjoyed rich breakfast, a practically furnished room, warm atmosphere and great price/performance ratio.

Very good price, and each room has its own bathroom. Tidy environment. There are tea bags and refrigerators in the public space, which is very convenient . The breakfast for 7 euros is really rich, I highly recommend to stay here

the location is on a hill, and there are no taxis in the area- you’d have to wait to get a taxi maybe 30min. the owners are happy to collect you from the station on your arrival however- so keep this in mind.

the property is a beautiful classic Slovak style, very friendly couple own it, and super helpful, I forgot my charger at the location and the host came to meet me at the station it bring it for me. any questions you may have, they are always happy to help and answer. breakfasts were also very yummy.
