The showers are very small (though management said they are actively redesigning the bathrooms). Room lighting was also on the low side, but with nice big balcony doors you can let natural light in. The fruit offered at breakfast could be more fresh...there is so much fresh fruit being sold on the streets!

This was my second time in Freetown and this time I chose to stay at Swiss Hotel (a much better deal and hotel than New Brookfields Hotel). It is very safe, well decorated with character, staff are very friendly, responsive and accommodating. There is a nice outdoor pool and lounge area where you can dine or work outside underneath the patio. This was a nice little oasis in the busy city! Wifi was EXCELLENT in the bedrooms with no issues. Wifi in the lobby/restaurant was a bit slower. There's a backup generator that turns on fairly quickly when there are grid outages (not the hotel's fault). The restaurant has pretty good food too. I would highly recommend staying at Swiss Hotel.

All the staff are professional polite and they go the extra mile to ensure your needs are met. I am currently staying in one of their studio apartment which is basically for me home away from home. I cannot fault anything but to say thank you to all the staff that has looked after me for my three weeks stay in freetown. Your customer service is excellent! Swiss hotel is definitely my choice of place to stay and would recommend. Value for money, great location, security excellent Wi-Fi good, 24 hour electricity, good water supply with excellent shower having a choice of warm shower. Both the local cuisine and Interntaional cuisine tastes excellent.

I booked excecutive suite, 60m2, but hotel room was normal size, so it was bit sad, but it is ok, because I stayed in the room only nights. Noise from streets was quite heavy until late night, so I dodnt sleep very well, but it is ok.

Breakfast was ok. City is close to the hotel. Nice swimming pool area. Staff was very friendly.

I have been staying at the Swiss multiple times over the years, awlways for work, but I fear this was my last stay with them. Unfortunately, the quality of the facility and the food has significantly worsened, but this is almost understandable given that the economic condition in Sierra Leone have been too. The straw that broke the camel back - I was double charged for the expenses at the end of my stay, and despite having tried getting in touch with them multiple times via email, phone and WhatsApp, I am yet to receive even a simple acknowledgment of the issue. Theproblem is not the double charging, which might happen, is the poor customer service received afterwards, which makes me feel almost like they want to keep the couple of hundred dollars of double expenses - in this way, they have lost what was once a loyal customer.

It remains in a good location, and while staying at the hotel the stuff was helpful as usual.

The maintenance of the facilities could be improved. For example the toilet in 102 was dripping and the tap over the sink needs stabilizing. Also, the tiles could be cleaned so there is less evidence of mold. The towels were a little dingy! Guest should be encouraged to use the bathrooms to change after using the pool!

Breakfast was good overall although the weekend options were better. I liked that I could have an omelet made to order. I stayed with my elderly mother and she enjoyed her breakfast and felt really welcomed by the staff.

Everything, it is HORRIBLE. Very dirty, the bed was uncomfortable, and the wifi wasn't working. The whole room had dark brown dust on its surfaces, there were ants in the bathroom. I cannot believe all the misleading reviews say it is a good place! the neighborhood is very loud and it is a ghetto area. It is not safe at all, you have the cross the street to go have breakfast on the other side of the building. it is also too loud at night, people were playing music in the street and you can hear it as if it was in your room. AND it is TOO expensive for its value!!!!

The hotel is located at a sweet spot - Not far from Lumbley/Aberdeen beach roads and can easily get to most places around the city. Moreover, I like the staff alot. They are very polite and professional. Customer service is really on point at this hotel.

From the moment I arrived til the time I checked out, all staff were extremely kind and helpful. Everything just WORKED, which is exactly what I need on an intensive work mission. Breakfast, once it was being served, was really nice.

There’s no lift in this hotel. WIFI is pathetic. No water for bath. Gym is tooo small. Restaurant guys just don’t care.
