This place is fantastic overall, but I was shocked and annoyed to find out that they charge you for all coffee consumed in your hotel room. I’ve traveled in over 50 countries on 6 countries. In every single hotel I’ve stayed in that leaves coffee in hotel rooms (coffee that you prepare for yourself), this coffee is complementary. Furthermore, there was no sign or pricing information on or near the coffee machine or the sachets of coffee indicating otherwise. So I was surprised to see a charge of over 10,000 CFA when I checked out. Given how expensive this hotel is, surprising guests with a unannounced coffee surcharge seems cheap, dishonest, and just gross. It’s the opposite of hospitality. It begs the question: what next? A surcharge for squares of toilet paper?

The people were so polite and willing to help. Especially folks like Amadou at the reception desk, Ruqkaya and Aby. These three people made my stay exceptional. Likewise, the food, easy access to the beach, and great facilities in general made it worth every penny spent.

- there was a persistent bad smell in the room. It was terrible - parking is headache and there is a slowness in booking in/out which can drive you crazy - it is too bad that a simple drink is not offered during the launch/dinner buffet - didn’t test internet. I was not given any information on it at and I used my 4G instead - didn’t take into consideration my additional booking comment : 1 king size bed instead of 2 single beds joined

The hotel is not up to 5 star standards anymore. A lot of repair is necessary. A few examples: Room entrance door was blocking, the safe did not work, the AIRCON made a lot of noise due to broken structure etc On the beach lots of beds are broken, and a few times there were no towels anymore for pool/beach

The food did not meet our expectations. We were served molded bread on our first full day for dinner. The breakfast buffet was not appealing either.

The private beach and entertainment was phenomenal. Great security. Room was decent. We had a few hiccups during our first couple of days of stay. However one of the host managers, Aminata, was very helpful and pleasant for the remainder of our stay. She made sure that we were having a great time and was always checking in on us.

Value for money was not great, mostly due to subpar client service. Long waiting time at check-in, not very welcoming reception staff, and areas were very full and noisy during meal times, and there are a lot of unnecessarily bureaucratic processes. As an example, it took me 20 mins and speaking to 5 different individuals, telling me to go somewhere to get tickets, just to arrange something simple like beach towels, without anyone taking charge or at least apologizing. The rooms also need better maintenance. At this price point, failing at such simple points is absolutely ridiculous.

When I ask for special requests about my husband birthday the day of spa and birthday cakes booking told me they’re wasn’t extra charge when I get there they told me I have to pay for all of it they didn’t know about my request they charge everything

The staff at the reception were not friendly, they made us wait more than two hours to deliver the two other rooms and we when we were back there were still one room left not done. i was obliged to tell them to give us any other rooms no matter the location. And also i did not like the fact that the directions are not very clear to go to the rooms. we lost ourselves the whole weekend

The breakfast and dinner were amazing, we had various delicious meals and i loved how the pool and beach was clean. The spectacle was good too and we reall did not have time to be bored. thank you for that.
