Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaIf I had any issues it was quickly resolved.
The hotel is on a quite street and near the main areas of Dakar. Easy to walk or hail a taxi; your choice. A 5 min walked the other direction and you’ll ended up overlooking the ocean. The view was remarkable. There is a restaurant on sight. Although breakfast was included. I also had lunch and throughly enjoyed the food. It has both inside and outside private seating. and noticed the customers were not only guest of the hotel but external customers. The rooms had comfortable bed and all amenities functioning great. As I said to the GM I will be back on my next visit to Dakar C’était magnifique !!

GambiaThere was a small landing on the ground floor which both my wife and I stumbled off. When I told reception they said there should be a black mat which the cleaners had removed. Next time I used the lift the mat was back. I suggested they put a black and yellow strip at the top of the step
The breakfast was a nice continental choice we were visiting a local hospital which was a two minute walk.

United StatesOur entire stay at Rysara was wonderful. From check in to checkout we were well taken care of by the staff. Everyone was so polite, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, very quiet and well equipped. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and a few cocktails out on the patio. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra night. Highly recommend!

Pakistanİt is a small hotel, there is no gym or swimming pool, the price doesn't seem to be value for money. İt was far from exhibition center CİCES but close to the markets.
The staff were excellent, they even helped me negotiate with the taxi drivers, hotel was clean, breakfast was excellent.
