Nothing, great location, so many beautiful birds around their property.

Sonja and Henry are excellent hosts. They go out of their way their way to be helpful. I would highly recommend them and the services that they provide. The meals are excellent and Henry was so good a picking up and dropping off clients at the local international airport.

The pickup service from the airport was awesome. So was the dropoff, even though they were both at 2 am. The hosting and the food were top notch. The rooms were comfortable and the ambiance of the property was very relaxing.

We spend 2 night there (one before our trip, one after), the first one were very noisy (people on the phone at 2am) and the insulation of the room is aweful... But the second night was perfect without any noises so i guess it append sometimes, depend on the guests

Sonja and Henri are very nice hosts, the guesthouse is really close to the airport and they can do the shuttle for you on demand (10$ per shuttle). The place is clean, the breakfast good and you can eat in the evening for 10$ amazing meals if you ask 1 day before.

There is nothing that could have been better.

Sonja's son went to the airport and waited from us from 2 to 3am, until we were allowed to leave the airport (Visa was needed and we didn't have it). He took us to his Mom's place and was very gentil by helping us with luggage and showing us our accomodation. We have slept really well and Sonja made us breakfast, which was very welcome. On planned time her son took us back to the airport and again very kindly helped us with luggage and as bonus, told us a bit about Surinami's history. The location is perfect for people in transit like we were. Also, I felt reallz safe as a woman travelling alone with two small kids.

Very close to the international airport. No issues with late arrival or early departure, airport shuttle is provided no matter the hour! Tasty dinner. Kind and helpful hosts. Staying at Sonja's makes you feel like a local:-).

Very close to the airport, we booked it because we had a very early flight. The staff was accommodating, as we needed to change the length of our stay (1 night instead of two nights) because an unexpected change in flight schedule.

Nothing, everything met or exceeded expectations.

Promptly picked up at the airport after 1 in the morning. Location is close to the airport. The property is clean, facilities reasonable, air conditioning in the room, shared bathroom facilities and a sink in the room. No issues with noise, very peaceful location. Sonja and Henry were both wonderfully helpful, welcoming and nice to chat too.

Nothing the properly, but if you are going to stay here for a day or two before a flight in Zanderij, HAVE ENOUGH cash! There are hardly any ATMs working between Zanderij and Lelydorp (sometimes not even there if it is the end of the month)

A great place to be the day before a flight, nice location , fantastic family that owns the place, fridge stocked with beer and water for guests, Sonja prepared some great food, they picked up us from the airport when we didn’t get on a standby flight , the family went out of their way to help make us feel comfortable, their son was good at communicating us with the booking , Henry was a fun driver.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Sonja and Henry are two of the kindest people I have ever met. The ride from the airport at 1am was extremely convenient, and Henry even gave me a much-appreciated history lesson during the ride to the city. The bedroom, bathroom, and common areas were all spotless -- everything was kept clean and tidy at all times. The breakfast and lunch were also great. I am glad I decided to spend a night here!

Great location for first and/or last nights in Suriname. Henry was so kind to pick us up at the airport very late at night, and he even brought us to our next location in Paramaribo and gave tips for thoroughly exploring the country. The breakfast is sober, but you can specify your preferences the night before and Sonja prepares it with a lot of love. Small but practical room with a comfortable bed and AC.

The room I stayed the first night was very nice, clean, quiet and dinner was very good. The next day, my flight has been canceled and very generously the owners accepted many passengers back, lowering the room price and being extremely welcomy. They are very nice people.
