Location was good right next to the municipal market where we bought breakfast ingredients for super cheap every morning (fresh hot tortillas, avocado, tomatoes, fruit, and cake snack). A few minutes walk from the conchagua offices. They gave us a free bottle of water upon arrival and have a filter tap in the family home’s kitchen. They let us keep our bags in their house during the Conchagua camping trip! There’s a kitchen with a percolator coffee machine and fridge, but not got a lot of utensils / cutlery.

No hammocks, not a lot of places to hang out outside, almost in the market, which was good and bad in terms of busy

Cheap and very basic. We took the room without ac and it was hot but bearable for one night sleeping with the fan on. A bit weird there is no door to the bathroom so little privacy. We were able to leave the luggage at their place for a night when we went to camp at espiritu de la montana. A little weird situation though because we got the bags back and they were wet - after asking we got to know they had some problem and water spilled all over the place - no blame, things happen but I wish they had told us and apologized and not pretended like nothing had happened, because a lot of our stuff was wet inside...

A minor issue to some may be the lack of hot showers. But, after walking around the heat, a cold shower was a minor inconvenience for me personally. It’s the only reason I gave a rating of 9 instead of 10. Regardless, I would stay here again.

Owner was responsive to my questions prior to arriving such as how to contact the truck service to the volcano summit. Great AC. It is right next to the open-air market. 5-minute walk to the main square and a 8-minute walk to the boat dock. They even let me check in at 1pm a few hours early.

Marta and family were so helpful! Letting us use their computer to fill in our forms so we could get to Nicaragua and being patient with us and our bad Spanish. Rooms were comfortable and clean

Extremely clean! One of the cleanest hotels/ hostels I've been to! The owners are superb, very kind and helpful. They let us leave our bags at the accommodation during our one night stay at Spirit mountain. They also let us use their own kitchen to cook some food. The air-conditioning works really well. The location is super close to the markets which is very useful. Thanks!

The rooms didn’t look like the photos, the beds and bathroom were dirty and the drains stank which made the room smell horrible

We only had one towel and one small blanket and the service wanted to charge us $5 for the second towel. After my friend got into an argument with them that we definitely do not want to use 1 towel for 2 people they leniently gave us another one after spending 10 minutes giving different excuses why it's normal. The owners clearly want to milk as much money as possible. PS: My friend used his cleaning towel as a blanket...

The air-conditioning was present and there is a small kitchen you can use.

Smell bathroom. Water was cut off for a few hours at night. Doesn’t look like the pictures. Way too hot in the room. Fan didn’t work well. No flyscreen on window so had to remain shut or mosquito come in. One towel provided, when you book for two, extra $2 if you want another. Dip in the mattress. Not an enjoyable night.

The parking is very small (5 cars maximum), the place is next to a market and it's hard to go out because is full of cars outside and they don't give food at all (maybe water), if you are hungry, you need to buy it out

The staff was nice and kind, the place was clean and the beds comfortable, near to super market and restaurants.
