This property was overbooked so Susie, the manager, took me to another location. It was basic, with OK beds, functioning showers, good wi-fi, and facilities to prepare a simple meal. Susie or her son would drop in a few times a day to check on us. Everything was kind of run down but clean. Both places were exactly where indicated but their entrances looked like garage doors so don't let that confuse you:) There are no lockers so you have to trust your roommates. Fee for leaving your luggage for a few hours after check-out were unreasonable, in my opition, so make sure to agree on that in advance.

Useable kitchen. Primitive shower with no hot water. But it’s refreshing after a hot day!

We had to pay extra to store our luggage, the kitchen is really just one stove (no drinking water, no fridge) and it didn’t feel very homey. As we had to pay a deposit on our keys, we had to wait an hour in the morning to checkout to get it returned.

Great location, spacious rooms. If you go in with the expectation of getting somewhere to sleep and that’s it, it’s great. The price mirrors that.

The shower and sink in the dorm were not working. There was no fridge but ice could be provided. Bed did not have sheets, but a bottom and top blankets.

The owner was very friendly. Dorm room was spacious. The stove worked and drinking water was provided. Main corridor was airy and open.

The shower didn’t have any lights so at night it was hard to shower.

We had a pretty big private room with two queen beds for a super low price.

The room was dark and not set up great, the window didn’t have actual glass just the glass panels that let in a lot of noise and cold. It was pretty chilly at night and super loud from the street. The bed was very uncomfortable. Only one bathroom for 9 people, pretty tiny and not the cleanest.

The owner of the Hostel and her son are just beautiful souls. I happened to have a situation with a customer of the hostel and they were so kind and supportive. The place is humble but it’s worthy because of the money you pay for it and how good you feel there.

I had announced my check-in for 2p.m. the manager arrived at 2.30 - no apology. Then she started preparing my room - it was ready a full hour after the official check-in time. There is no drinking water, half the time no running water at all. No lockers. Windows are really bad and you hear everything from the street. No flush in the bathroom, no toilet paper at some point. The plastic bags with used toilet paper overflowing most of the time. No internet at some point. No-one present to fix problems

Property is not at all as advertised. We booked a private room but when we were arrived we were given beds in a dorm that looked nothing like the photo, and then we were charged triple the amount that was clearly stated on the booking. The bed I personally slept on was the worst I've had throughout 5 years of travel, and the noise from the shutters when people come and go is crazy - no one is sleeping through that. I am not a picky man but this was awful

That Suzy and her17yr old son are both fluent in English and are confident in answering any questions very informative. The place was overbooked however I was relocated to her other hostel that was a 2min walk. Both locations are Central and spotless

Friendly staff. Perfectly clean and maintained. Really good value for money. It is a basic hostel but everything worked fine (shower is set up with buckets when water goes off, which didn't bother me but just heads up, and small kitchen with no fridge but they offered to get us ice to keep stuff cool). The private room we had was spacious and comfortable and at the back of the hostel so quiet. The dorm is at the front of the hostel so might be loud with the road and metal door opening and closing. Location is good. There is no sign for the hostel but we found it ok. Follow Google maps, it's a pink building.

The hostess and her son speak excellent English. Their hostel is modest and gives a good experience of local homes. Highly recommed. Be aware that no hot water is normal is El Salvador. Also we used an old Google address that was wrong but friendly folks gave us help. Use the booking,com address. Or call and they willmeet you and walk you to the hostel.
