The shipment container-type of accommodation allowed for a lot of sound to enter in the morning. Animals, people talking etc. If you're an early riser then, no problem

Expensive for what they offered, the blankets were dirty and with a lot of stains, no paper toilet in the bathroom, and there was not a trash can inside the room besides the bathroom. Mosquitos all over the ceiling.

The views are good, the staff members are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food is decent, and the restaurant menu has good choices. Nice pool.

This is one of the most difficult reviews I have ever done. I’m a retired United States Marine, things don’t normally bother me. I normally do review with exceptionally good service. Today is difficult because it’s me and my wife anniversary of 31 years together. We stayed at other resort and this is our final stop before going home. Everything started amazing, problem with booking I got a Mountain View room instead of the lake view I booked. Prior to my arrival they upgraded me to what my room was supposed to be, LAKE VIEW for a fee and because of a party with anticipated loud music that was going to take place. They added a complimentary slice of cake and an anniversary picture of me and my wife. Beautiful room and amazing views overall very nice facilities but over priced. I didn’t care, it’s my anniversary. Dining - we ate at the lake side restaurant food tasted good. They overcooked my streak but fixed it and gave me a new one. No problem. PROBLEM - At about 10pm my wife and I are sick nausea and diarrhea. I know too much information but there is a reason. Not sure if it’s from the food we ate here or the previous resort we were at, not the reason for this post. THE WATER GOES OUT, not working at all. I’m on the toilet with diarrhea, filling the tub to take a bath and relax but now I can’t flush the toilet or wash my hand. I used the water in the tub to wash my hands, go to the office and he tells me that they had several complaints from other guest with NO WATER and that they are working on it. Water finally fixed problem solved, WRONG!!! SICK ALL NIGHT - Up and down at about 3am water goes out again. Staff not answering the phone, I walked to the office no one there. I CAN’T FLUSH THE TOILET AND CAN’T WASH MY HANDS AGAIN. 20 Years in The Marine Corps, we improvise, adapt, and overcome. We take care of crap no pun intended.

Booking.com does not make it clear that there are 2 hotels. Please set up 2 separate listings or update room types with clear descriptions. We had two rooms in different locations. This was a pain as there is a small buggy you need to wait for every hour. If not you’re forced to pay $$ cash other times. This should be a free service or built into the cost of the rooms. The lower section of the hotel is much better. Pool at the top was dirty and room they first gave us smelled like mould. They ended up changing the mould room for an inferior one. Sheets had blood stains. Food was average. Lower section where you eat smelled like sewerage. I suggest a new cook or an old grandma who can cook typical Salvadorian food. Restaurant unable to bill your room so you need cash on hand to fix the bills. Overall I was disappointed. Please, no apologies needed - just get your 💩 together.

There was an event on at the restaurant attached La palma. I'm pregnant need to rest and couldn't sleep till they decided to stop their music at midnight. We told staff and they didn't respond or do anything at all. They should block rooms when events are on for event guests or heavily discount and warn people. There is no insulation for the room. No sound. Hot when it's hot, cold when it was cold. Room was not advertised clearly- it was a shipping container, not what you see on all photos. There's 2 sections one at top of a mountain with no beach access and one with beach access - this isn't explained. You can walk down but walking up is not easy.

Beautiful views, stunning event spaces. Friendly and lovely staff. Adding new features (adventure activities coming) New chapel is beautiful. New event spaces are amazing. Good Playground for kids

Unfortunately two things ruined the beautiful place and our stay. First is the loud music as we stayed there on a Sunday and apparently every week end is the same. All we wanted is a nice place over the lake to have a good rest. Music was loud until after midnight. Second thing that ruined our stay is we woke up bitten all around by something (not mosquitoes).

I loved how it was right on the lake and you can touch the water. Actually the hotel has two buildings, one a bit further from the lake and one called lake front, so make sure you pick the one on the lake front if that is what you want. I liked the modern construction and modern bathroom look also. I liked the food in the restaurant.

The experience of staying here was awful. There is no clarity on their website that the pictures shown are the LAKEFRONT portion NOT the Hotel. The front staff was dismissive, stating that all restaurants in the area are unsafe to eat at (the food was better at all of the local places than the hotel restaurant). The upper pool smelled of sewage which would blow towards our balcony. They only run a shuttle every 2 hours to the advertised lakefront pool and if you wish to go down at any other time it costs $6 unless you walk on very steep roads. At night, the restaurant played music so loudly it shook the walls of the room. When I went to the front desk to ask about the music, I was rudely told it would play until 1am and that they knew it shook the walls of the rooms but didn't care. If you want any sleep, good food, and kind staff, stay somewhere else.

The view of the lake and proximity to places such as La Ruta de Las Flores, Santa Ana Volcano are good. The lower pool at the lakefront offers a nice relaxation spot and nice views.

For the price of a suite we expected more. At least a better coffee machine, better room facilities and a bit more privacy. To enter the room you need to cross a door which remains always unlocked so I felt a bit unsafe considering that the door of the room couldn’t be locked from the inside!

Amazing views and the pool is really nice. It’s also easy to reach and the staff is really friendly and kind.

This new hotel is amazing!!! I’ve been coming to the lake once a year for the last 10 years and I can’t believe how much has Changed in this area and continues to change. This lake front hotel is completely up to date with nice furniture touches, activities on the property and the view of the lake. Will come back again!

I didn’t like how booking said that the breakfast was free. I went down to their restaurant thinking breakfast was free and I was told that “booking” lies and breakfast is only free if I book directly with their website. They also charge a $40 cash deposit fee which I was never returned because I had a flight to catch very early in the morning and there was nobody in the lobby at that time. Extremely unprofessional there should always be at least one person in the lobby 24/7. I contacted them through WhatsApp multiple times asking for the $40 back and they asked me to provide them with a bank account number from a family member in El Salvador which I don’t have. Still waiting for them to reply about that. They also don’t offer any type of transportation as it says on here to the airport. They only also have ONE pool & 2 restaurants.

I loved the view. I was staying at the lakefront and our room had a balcony so the view was very beautiful of the pool and lake and the mountains. I also loved that the pool was 24 hours. The front desk people were polite and they escorted us to our rooms and took our luggage
