One of the best guest house I have ever stayed in! Rooms were really comfortable and clean. I love the charging ports for every bed and a small laps. Great kitchen, parking inside ( great if you travel with motorbike) laundry service and breakfast for affordable prices. The owner is super nice and extremely helpful. He gave me great recommendations what to see and eat around and how to get to Santa Ana Volcano. He also made sure my stay was comfortable and I have everything what I need. I recommend this place to everyone and I would love to stay there again.

Family owned hostel that feels so comfortable. I only came here one night after staying in another hostel in Santa Ana but I wish I would have stayed there longer. Very very kind family, so helpful. I met the wife at a little market on my way home and I was looking for yoghurt that they didn’t have, when we got back to the hostel, she gently gave me one of them. Pure kindness, highly recommended!

The room was pretty small and very hot there was just 1 fan but it was low so if you have a top bunk which I did it didn’t reach you and it was extremely hot in the night so we had to leave the doors open to let some air in. I did get bitten by bugs during the night I think because the doors were open and needed to be open. The place was nice though would have been better with a bottom bunk to cool down.

Great location close to the city centre just a few mins walk to the main square. Was nice little spot in the city. The owner lui was lovely and his wife checked me in but she only spoke Spanish so google translate was handy. They are a really nice couple. I would recommend staying here

We loved our stay at the casa vieja. Luis and his family are so kind, Luis is there to help you with everything, such as booking tours, arranging shuttles and we could even rent his motorbike/car. The guesthouse has a very nice atmosphere, we felt immediately at home. I would definitely come back and can highly recommend it.

Nothing, it was all great

First and foremost Luis the owner, and his family, made this an exceptional stay. Friendly and so helpful with so much information about where to go and what to do. He took us gor a day out in the Ruta de Flores which was an absolute highlight of our trip. A very kind and good man. The hostel itself was well situated between the centre and the best Pupusa place going. Our double bed was big and extremely confortable. The room was well thought pur with sockets by the bed and plenty of storage and hanging space. The private bathroom was as you would expect for a hostel and perfectly adequate and very clean. I highly recommend the breakfasts they offer. Different each day and cooked on demand. Very tasty indeed. Once again, I can not recommend this place highly enough

A perfect place to explore Santa Ana with very welcoming hosts. Great recommendations on how to spend your time there and where to eat. Great location, only a short walk to the main square where you'll find restaurants, supermarkets and plenty of market stalls.  Clean, basic rooms and a small well equipped kitchen. Great communal space. Thank you Luis and family. It's been lovely getting to know you all. We will return!

Location was fabulous! So close to main city square, but far enough that didn’t hear the free concert that was also there. Luis the host was excellent. Unfortunately I got food poisoning during one of my outings, but Luis was great trying to get me back on my feet again. He checked on me and suggested restaurants which might do me some good. Luis also helped arrange transportation with a company to visit Santa Ana volcano and Lago de Coatepeque, which was worth the cost.

Hot water was broken in my shower, but since it was so hot during the day, cold showers at night were kind of welcoming.

Luis was an exceptional host! Gave amazing recommendations on where to go and how to get there. Was available at all times. Exceptional location in a beautiful city!

Great hostel! We had a very comfy bed, our room was spacious and had a ceiling fan and private bathroom. Very well equipped kitchen and nice communal space. The host was so so helpful with information in English and Spanish and the family are very friendly! We had an excellent four night stay, fairly central location, only a 5/10 minute walk to the main plaza, and a 30 minute walk to the main bus terminal by the market (Terminal Fransisco Lara Pineda). You can easily get to la Ruta de las flores from here, as well as Juayua, Joya de Ceren, and Tazumal.

Just a bit small when everyone arrived with huge luggage also quite warm in the room. But for the price amazing.

Family which ownes the place is super nice, good of useful tips. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Plugs by your bed, wifi and warm water

Absolutely loved this guesthouse. Perfect location, easy walk from main square, but still quiet. I slept very well. Although sometimes you can hear noises from next room, everybody is respectful here, no loud parties or conversations. Luis is a wonderful host, he helped me with lots of advises and arranged a number of transfers. Great breakfast as well.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The dorm is a bit small, so if its full (6 P) its quite cozy. Onsuite bathroom to the dorm is quite nice.

Inconsistent hot water in the shower. Had it one night, didn't have in another.

Staff was pleasant, the family was very sweet. Clean rooms, comfy bed. Location was excellent, halfway between the best pupusería and the town center.

In the room with 6 people there are only 4 old lockers - let's say it is unfortunate. Atm there is only 1 shower incl. Toilet for everyone which leads to some traffic at rush hour.

Truly family run business - you live in the same complex. Luis is a very nice guy, who can help you with everything. We booked a Scooter from him, he even organised another one to satisfy everyone. The atmosphere is chill, I bet you can have some good conversations in the front place with the right people.
