I had a shuttle during the night and reception was not open. I asked if the door would be open when I leave and they said yes. When I tried to leave the door was locked. Luckily another guest was awake and showed me the other door that could get out of. It might have been that they forgot to explain to me how to get out after the reception closes and that is why they said the door would be open. My Spanish is not very good so that also might be the reason why I didn't receive the information.

Clean nice hostel and good kitchen. Friendly staff. Wifi worked well. The room was comfortable. The hot shower was very nice. The terrace was pleasant. I had a nice stay in this hostel

Some mosquitos get into dorm, hot in rooms without ac, far from everything you will do, no street food or markets around, shop and eat when you are out seeing other places, squeaky beds

Safe area,can take local buses, meet other travelers, lockers, coffee in morning, places to relax, food court one block away, secret callejon two blocks away where you can find papusas at night

There weren't enough lockers when I arrived, but by the next day 8 more locker units almost magically appeared. The staff were friendly and helpful, there were lots of good common areas, there is a nice kitchen and there was a good wifi connection.

lovely hostal, breakfast available and very tasty. really nice little garden to relax in. comfortable and clean room and separate bathroom. in the more modern part of town but you can walk into the historic centre in just over an hour or it’s just round the corner from a bus stop.

shower a bit weird, you have to climb down a bit and then difficult to find the right temperature between hot and cold. dorm is a bit packed full and longtime guests shouldn't be mixed with travellers. lockers outside of the room.

extremely good breakfast served by the owner. was the largest and most tasty omelette so far. atmosphere of a private salvadorian home.

Really good food, nice bed and breakfast vibe. Wifi was strong enough for me to work. Not as much of a backpacker vibe but there is a communal area and terrace that is good enough

a lovely little room in a family home. super helpful owners who were keeping me topped up with free coffee and snacks! very knowledgeable on the city too. decent wifi, kitchen and hot water - couldn’t ask for much more!

The staffs does not give too much travel advice. The location is quite far from the city center. The room is quite hot and with a lot of mosquitoes. would-be nice if a mosquito net is provided.

great location in a very safe area . easy to get to the old city centre . quiet area hot shower and dorm with en-suite kitchen and nice breakfast for US $ 3,5 lady speaks perfect English and is very nice and very helpful. balcony where you can seat and relax

The staff here are really friendly! The senora greeted me with water and coffee upon my arrival. She is a good chef, too. They did my laundry with care. The neighborhood is nice and there are many food options in the food court in the nearby WTC. I came a day late and they were flexible and honored my reservation. Really great staff! Good WiFi too and some reading materials on offer.
