The property has some structural issues (badly done plumbing system so the kitchen/dorm drains get blocked), lacks systemic anti-mosquito action (nets, sprays, etc.) and reliable (or, at times, any) wi-fi but features a well-equipped kitchen and several nice common areas. Still, in all honesty, I extended my stay purely for how comfortable and welcomed Gabi made me. That girl is a rock star!

I had a private room and the Main Street is right outside. The traffic noise wakes you up but it wasn’t terrible. Just use ear plugs

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place has a nice vibe. Good location. The bus right our front will take you to the city center in one direction and the bus terminal in the other.

Bathroom’s floor was full of hair so I’d recommend to have it cleaned more frequently.

There’s a nice park just in front of the hostel. Filter water, lockers, fans.. basically all you need. Staff are young and make friends with guests and you can expect to get to know other travelers.

I sent several messages asking about tours and got no response. The manager later said they stopped doing them as there was no demand. But why not have some details to hand? What did make me grumpy was they said you could get breakfast (at a cost) but the ladies in the kitchen weren't interested. One morning when I asked, I sat and watched them cook it, then eat it. They said they forgot i had asked. It was easier to go around the corner..And you need earplugs. It's only single glazed, there is abus stop outside,and the busses all have sirens.

It is a hostel, but I paid for a room with a private bathroom and it was huge! While the decor was tired, it was clean. The location was secure and it was nice to have the park across the road. Downtown was only a walk away and there were lots of Ubers.The water was warm and the WiFi worked.

The WiFi just is not working AT ALL, we have just arrived to a new country, we did ’t have a sim-card, and what we were supposed to do without internet ? How to search for the next stay, how to text people that you have arrived and whatever? When you book hostel you suppose that you gonna have WiFi.

It’s located close to the park, the kitchen and the sated areas are very good and comfortable. The stuff was very kind and friendly.

Wouldn't recommend location for lone female traveller, as its a long walk from the centre. Wi Fi doesn't work at all, after reading old reviews this issue won't be fixed in a while, if ever. Beds were hard and had grooves in them. A staff member (maybe the owner) played videos on Facebook very loudly in the communal space every day of our stay, which made the living area quite uninviting and not relaxing. Room isn't very secure from outside, as 3 large cockroaches got in our room.

Staff are kind and friendly. Good, well equipped kitchen with free drinking water. Large spacious room with own balcony. The location is OK, near a nice park.

That would be great if they answered the customers questions before Checkin. Also, there aren't enough lockers. The place is very safe, but still, it says in the description there are lockers.

The hostel is really clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is extremely nice, big and well-equipped. The area is very safe. The staff is nice and helpful. There is a nice, relaxing atmosphere about the place.

Just missing a mirror in my room. I understand that they just reopened in time for the Miss Uninverse hosting across the street. Overall, i had a very comfortable stay.

The property is newly renovated, my private room was clean newly painted and renovated washroom. The property is in a nice and very secured area. Walking distance to the Cuscalan Park and just across to the National Gymnasium.
