How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The picture showed bunk beds and a queen bed to accommodate 4; however, it only had a queen and a twin. The queen bed is springy and slightly uncomfortable.
The best stay of our entire trip!! The location was very central, only few min walk to the main square and the food festival. The loft is very reasonably priced, clean, tastefully decorated, and perfect size for our family of 4. It even had a small kitchen and the coffee is a bonus. The host was very attentive to our needs and responded to our questions promptly.

Great location, parking available right outside, easy check in process and comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here, beautiful place considering it was only £20 for the night!

Pretty, clean, spacious apartment. We didn't cook but appreciated the kitchenette; it's nice to have tea/ coffee or keep your drinks cool. We didn't meet the host but the communication was great and when the payment system rejected my credit card, the host quickly offered alternatives. Great stay overall!

The apartment is gorgeous, very well kept and clean. Excellent location and the most amazing and helpful hosts ever! I needed the doctor whilst in this apartment and not only did they recommend one they even checked in on me to see how I was doing.

Nothing related to the space but for anyone visiting Juayua, be mindful that the majority of the excitement of the town happens on weekend because during the week there really isn’t much happening at all.
Very spacious, it had all the amenities of an apartment, proximity to the center the town, great communication with host and parking was always available.

There is nothing I didn't like.
This place is in a fantastic location and very easy to check in. I was able to park right in front and could walk to everything in town. I highly recommend this place!!!

This place is an absolute gem in Juayua.Nicely decorated apartment with excellent location,just 2 blocks from the main square surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops.Emi was very attentive,everything went smoothly.

Bed was slightly sloped- warn on one side.
Beautiful little apartment, 5 mins walk from main street. Very clean, great coffee provided and all the amenities you could need.

Not bad something to note - As a solo traveler it is a bit secluded and not the easiest to get info on tours etc. I ended up using hostel facilities at Hostel Bourbon for that.
Hosts were lovely and room was very clean and cute. Exactly as pictured. They were very easy going about storing luggage ahead of time and leaving payment. Really a lovely family. They don't speak English but for me I wanted to work on my Spanish and they were very patient and helpful trying to communicate. Great walking location. Close to 7 waterfalls hike, some great restaurants and the bus stops.

It’s an actual tiny appartment. very cute and charmingly decorated Good bed with even a matras topper, there is a hot shower. It actually has a double bed and 2 bunkbeds, so it can sleep 4 people Right in the center of town

The apartment was perfectly located, so easy for coming and going to explore Juayua. This was our first road trip with our 5mo old son and it was the perfect place for us!! Although it is a petit property, it was so spacious - we had no trouble at all accommodating our stroller and all our baby paraphenalia. Emi was so thoughtful there was even a crib in the room complete with baby bedding and blankets, Emi's thoughtfulness was above and beyond and made all the difference. Right from the start Emi was so helpful and everything was easy. Thank you Emi for a wonderful stay, we hope to come back soon!!
