Little ants were everywhere if you left food out. Big hill to the entrance, about 8 mins from main centre which isn’t too far!

There was plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was big and easy to manoeuvre.

Super nice family running this hostel, very helpful, caring, answering quickly, flexible etc. Good atmosphere, chilling areas there. 5 to 10 minute walk to the center/church. The single room upstairs is great.

No events organised at the hostel. It would be so great to get privacy curtains for the dorm beds!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! Super quiet but I found it easy to talk to people. Huge, comfortable beds in the dorms, a great rooftop to watch the sunset from, and a small kitchen for cooking. The hostel was able to organise everything I needed from laundry to scooter rental. Don't let the stories of an "uphill walk" scare you away - Juayua is so small that you're still only about five minutes from the town centre.

Shower is only cold, no problem for me.

Loved this hostel! The kitchen has everything you didnt even knew you needed. It gets cleaned all the time. The scooter rent is good priced and beautifull scooters. Big beds. It has also a really social vibe with lots of places where you can meet new people; the kitchen, dining room on the terrace, the hangout area upstairs with a view... from this hostel we did amazing activities in the area. Would recommend staying here!

Beautiful small hostel in Juayua. Its more like a house rather than a classic hostel but that's what makes it so charming. Its a really nice house with a very clean and well equipped kitchen. The staff & volunteers are super friendly and helpful with organising trips around the area or anything else you need to know. Would defo stay again.

There was one I think British worker that was very off putting, no hot water for showers and unfortunately my laundry that I paid for looked like it had fallen on the floor while wet because several items came back quite dirty.

The beds were big and super comfy, the lounge areas were very nice and they have a cute little pup that roams the hostel.

8 min walk from the cathedral, up a steep hill-not a big deal. kitchen could have better storage for food.

Best view in town! we stayed in the private on the top floor (without realizing we booked it) and it was sweet! lots of natural light, big open windows, balcony! Could use better curtains in the room but everything was clean. staff were super friendly. motorbike rentals from the hostel!

-Showers were freezing cold and really too cold for me seen the fact it was not that warm in Juayua -Had the feeling the so-called ‘volunteers’ were ‘owning’ the place and constantly occupying the kitchen (and as the kitchen is quite small that wasn’t appropriate from my point of view)

-5 bed dorm was spacious enough and nice and bright with big windows -Very comfortable big bed with socket next to it -Ensuite bathroom in the dorm with toilet + cold shower +more bathrooms outside the dorm (also with cold shower) -Lockers for valuables available outside the dorm -WiFi worked well (also in the dorm) -Location a bit uphill, but still quite easy walkable from the bus stop with luggage -Nice view from the rooftop terrace -Tap water is drinkable -Very helpful+friendly owner

The vibe, the staff, the location of the private room! You could watch the sunrise every morning from the terrace and the staff had all the information you needed for your travels.

Unfortunately my room didnt had a window on the outside of the building so it was quite smelly. Also 2 bathsroom were often occpied and in the morning not as clean anymore especially the toilette. Would be nice to have women and men seperated.

Really nice hostel with friendly staff. Bit up from the center but easily reachable. Beds were kind of doublebeds which is really cool.

Wood smoke in the air from the vicinity. A little far from the center of town. No fan nor AC in the private room.

Staff were friendly and helpful. They were constantly cleaning, so the place was very clean. Nice views. I stayed in a private room with good views from my private porch.

The hostel is well maintained with a clean kitchen and bathrooms. There are two nice outdoor patio areas and great views of the mountains and town. Short walk into town. Very friendly staff and a great place to relax for a few days. Try the las siete cascadas trip while you are there, definitely a fun day activity
