Minor detail: the bed sheet had some small stains and it did not present well at first but this was the only "negative" thing we saw. If you are foreigner and expect hot shower, this is not the case: shower has only 1 option :)

All the common spaces are beautifully well cared! The little living room is very confortable and the kitchen area is very nice as well. The terrace (for breakfast) is very cute and every single corner of this hotel is full of light and colours! Make sure to take some pictures of the green patio in the middle of the venue :) BEST OF THE BEST: Marvin (staff) was the most amazing host we could have the pleasure to meet! We arrived in a very rainy night, he greeted us, showed us two rooms available to choose, fixed us with towels and shampoo and, because it was THAT rainy, he offered to arrange for us a "home-delivered" dinner. We wanted to go very local and chose the most traditional food we could eat: pupusas and local beers! Just the best! Marvin entertained us with his sweetest company, talking about santa ana, tourists he met during his career and how beautiful this country is. If you stay at this hotel make sure to treat him well because he will do his best to make your stay unforgettable! In the morning we also had the pleasure to meet the rest of the staff and, especially Juan Carlos, gave us plenty of tips and places to go visit while we stay in the country. We definitely recommend this place! Loved it!

I just have one little complain and was that I couldn't find liquid shampoo on my bathroom only liquid soap but that wasn't a big deal for me, because I brought with me my own shampoo and soap. Also, it is possible to buy it in a supermarket. The place is located near the center of Santa Ana and you could find nearby a Despensa Familiar or Super Selectos using Google Maps.

Since I enter to the hostal, I was received with a smile. The people in charge are kind and willing to help me with my questions. The aesthetic of the place is very similar with the photos. The place is easily located using Uber, Waze and Google Maps.

unfortunately the rooms are really small without windows so there is no ventilation at all. I don’t recommend trips organized by hotel- we were supposed to go to volcano santa ana and by the time we got there it was closed … and it was our last day in Salvador so we missed hiking -the reason why we came to Santa Ana, really disappointed . The shuttle to Antigua also organized by hotel (Nestor guy) came more than 2h late , was supposed to come at 4am and we waited at night….

Nice located close to catedral, the staff is really nice and breakfast one of the most delicious.

This is difficult to say because I was originally put in a room tucked under the stairs that had very little ventilation so it was very musty, moldy, and a bad smell that was covered by automatic air fresheners. The employees stored their motos right in front of it (being under the stairs) and even put an advertisement sign to block it off, which clearly it's not even treated like a guest room. After a night I requested twice to move rooms and both times they had to ask their manager and get back to me. They didn't change my room until my last night and the new room was much much better. I think it's the only bad room but nevertheless it needs to be fixed or not offered as a guest room. The good outweighed the bad, so I can safely say the place has such potential to be a great boutique hotel.

The staff were so kind and helpful. I had to run for the bus to hike the volcano at 7:00 (Breakfast starts at 7) and the man who usually serves breakfast rushed the chef to make me a togo container without me even asking (which saved me for the hike). Wifi was very good, very quiet, decent location about 10-15 walk from the main square, 20-25 min walk from the bus station.

We booked a room described as having a garden view, had the description said no window in the room we would not have booked. In fact all the downstairs rooms have just a single high up window in the bathroom and no window at all in the bedroom just 2 large doors. As soon as you open the doors, for natural light, you are exposed to the courtyard with the dining tables, no privacy. Soft music was played throughout the day and there was noise from the kitchen and traffic at night. Two upstairs rooms have windows and would be a better option except they have a corrugated iron roof which would be noisy in the rain.

The decor and ambience are fabulous and a lot of effort has been made. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a nice seating area upstairs. Water was available for you to refill bottles. Bed was comfortable and everything was nice and clean.

The staff was ok. They were polite and I think they work hard. Sometimes they were friendly and other times they weren't. Sometimes they were helpful and gave you the correct information, while other times they sent you to the wrong bus station or gave you the wrong bus information. The guy who handles the money is kind of creepy.

The rooms were clean and had a lot of storage space. The rooms had air conditioning.
